) i notice similarities when it comes to white guy , black girl relationships.
they don't care for both of you to be seen together. (guess the stares and looks of disaproval is too much for a lot of them to bear) and trust me, even though its 2007, people don't just gape but gape in disapproval.

I wonder just how much of that tension and perception is influenced by the social context (disapproval) and how much is really inherent to the relationship and how much of this is specific to the US context.
Anyway, my case may not be representative, but we hardly ever had any disapproving reactions when I just started seeing my wife. You've always got the occasional bigot here and there, but they're far and in between and they are definitely not part of my social circle.

many a white man may be in love with a black woman but only a few would be brave enough to walk the marriage road!
And doesn't the same go the other way around as well?
