Congratulations to you all, just keep praying for admission. Y'all know the way it is in Nigeria. I did JAMB a couple of times Scoring high marks. If i remember quite , my lowest mark was 220, still no admission. i got vexed and decided to come attend expensive schools out here. i got admission in just about two weeks and have been doing great at school(even though i never attend classes). I am not discouraging you lot, just praying that you dont get frustrated like i did. best of luck.

Congrats on the great scores, guys.

Nigeria is really improving. We didn't scratch  cards during our time. We used to crowd outside JAMB office gate in Umuahia for hours before fighting our way inside to copy our results. I wish you guys luck in securing a place.

With a score of 252, I was unable to get admitted into a course in Unijos. In the same university and for the same course, Kaduna State, Plateau State and Benue state had a cut-off mark of  209,  222 and 238 respectively. Quota system!

what is post ume?

A written test conducted to check the veracity of one's JAMB result.  It is conducted by the school authorities.  Passing JAMB alone does not guarantee one admission; you have to pass the Post UME Test too, convincingly.

Bad everything in Nigeria. Actually Post-Ume exposes one to cheats with JAMB as one's ex protector. We need good people in our institutions. That the only way out. In my class we have got guys without English Language and Maths. And at the same thing many with French Language and Further Maths as extras are languishing outside school redoing UME they got 280 before. Post_ume Screening was meant to fish cheats but in turn it covers cheats without a complete O'level grades even. What a mess!

the scores am seeing in this place are rather low; at the cyber cafe where i work in the university of port harcourt, the scores are between 260 - 290 with the highest being 302 so far and the lowest 207. There are also some cancelled results.

with the exit of the former minister of education, i doubt whether there will be post ume exams across the nation . I however suspect that the popular universities of choice  (UNILAG, UNIPORT) will conduct their own tests to try and maintain their prestige.
