I'm sniggering. I can't help it.
I know you have a thing for Bale, but even the guy himself regrets taking that role and featuring in the movie. Guess that makes him tasteless as well.

An action movie with a body count of 180, and Bale single-handedly kills 150 of them. Grin While Bale and I continue to dislike that 'tasteful' movie, feel free to count it among the world's best.  Tongue

Alan Ball created True Blood? Shocked Why oh why have I ignored the series?
Saw Amar Akbar Anthony, and a Monica Bellucci thing with unpronounceable French titles. Well into her forties and still gorgeous.

cos series based on something as lame as vampires isnt worth it.

I like Alan Ball ESP cos of the one of the best shows ever known as Six Feet Under but I cant see myself enjoying a show based on Vampire and vampire orgies acting like humans. Just dont see the appeal.

Peel yourself from Bale you,

Bale is a man's man.

The International is really one of the films I tried my darnest to watch. I wanted to see Julia Roberts in a 'serious' role and I couldn't get past the fifteen minutes of Clive's rubbish acting. I think Clive is like Nicholas Cage and Keanu Reeves. They're all streamlined actors.

I saw The Reader yesterday. From all the acclaim it got, I'd have had no qualms sitting with my family and seeing this film. Am I so glad that never happened or what? Kate is trying to hard to carve a niche for herself. She's already an achiever. She goes like she's trying to prove something. I don't know if it's only me.

Naomi Watts? There really are some 'dead' actors o. Reminds me of Alicia SIlverstone. Is she dead or what? And a host of others too, where are all these people?

thanks. You did only 15mins?  Smiley I guess I'll pass on it then. I couldn't get past 10mins of deathrace not sure what possessed me to attempt a watch in the first place few weeks ago . . . I smelled nonsense ahead.

  TOH,
Spiked is right. Bale's popularity has exploded only most recently. But I guess he's always been #1 in your heart  Cheesy

Oh I don't know. The vampire thing put me off - so juvenile- till I heard Alan Ball wrote it, and he's a pretty good writer. I just got its season 1 on DVD and will squeeze it between the good stuff, like Dexter, I'm pointing my eyeballs at.

You might be mixing The International, Clive Owen and Naomi Watts, with Duplicity, Clive Owen and Julia Roberts.

@JS
Both are just so-so fare.I saw both because I like Owen, but much better movies are available.

Yeah I thot he meant to write Naomi Watts but didn't connect it to think he may have been thinking of Duplicity.

Jesoul and Spiky what are your opinions about Twilight, i have disliked the movie since it came out because it was hyped so much and i personally do not really like movies that are chick flicks.

Does it match the hype or is it just another pop-corn movie.
