Aloib - You think? I came to London when i was 3, I was the only black girl in my class in primary school, I've live in a quiet Jewish area all my life, we're the only black people on our street. I only started mingling when i was in secondary school, hardly any other nigerians there , not many of us in my area back in the day , but I was still repping for us even back then, my mother HATED it when i spoke broken english after all the hard work she put into our nice english accents, So what do I do, my first real boyfriend was a nigerian and after 9 years with him i went out with a white portuguese guy thinking it would be a change , unfortunately all his friends were nigerian and he was more of less naija in spirit, after 2 years with him I really wanted a change but I am now with guess what, yes, another nigerian! haaahha i'm now of marrying age , (uggh i hate growing old), and it looks like after spending all of my life in england only travelling back home every so often, i have not been able to be anything else other than nigerian!! (Although my foolish bobo likes to tell everyone that i'm not really nigerian) It's ingrained i tell you! Mer-C there are just some down right fake or ignorant people in this world, there are those who aren't even mixed who want to claim it somewhere down the line, their grandmothers grandmother had indian blood in them, pleeeeeease, and here i am always arguing with people when they start trying to tell me i'm not really nigerian,
