Hanging Application Iexplorer.exe Ver 6.0

I am getting an error notice and when I go to Event Log I find the following:
ERROR EVENT ID 1002 Hanging application IEXPLORER.EXE v6.0.2800.1106, hang module hungapp v 0.0.0.0 hang address 0X00000000

Can anyone explain just what this means and how do I correct this?
