Zain's Tru Package Is A Scam!
« on: September 22, 2008, 06:08 PM »

Has anybody been able to migarte to Zain latest hype of TRU?
I havent had any luck since I 've been trying.

They say *141*708# is for TRU talk  while *141*709# is for TRU text. But as far as am concerned this thing is not working; even if you recharge the 100 naira and 50 naira respectively as they said.  I even had like 1000 naira yet no dice.

Something tells me they are playing their usual pranks with us again.

Wetin beta 4 dat TRU package?

Its 1 BIG MEDIA HYPE!
When i read the terms & conditions of the promo, i wasnt impressed @ all.

Imagine after passing all the trouble of activating the tru poo.
U then find out that it is valid for only 10 registered numbers.

Dats d main reason zain will neva get ahead MTN & GLO in the race for superiority.

HELL,   even etisalat! a new entry is already promising free credit 4 life!
And dem neva even begin operations!

I recently logged into prodigits, and there was dis african guy who said dat celtel abi na zain gave dem free calls during d daytime! For a promo very similar 2 dis our own tru package! And other peeps supported his claim.
I just couldnt convert their currency 2 naira.
So i didnt rily get d hang of it
