THE OLD TRAFFORD IS OUR HOME

Old Trafford is the proud home of Manchester United FC, located in the borough of Trafford in Greater Manchester.

It has been the club's permanent home since 1910 and currently boasts an all-seater capacity of 76,400 - the biggest club stadium in the United Kingdom. This followed recent ground development to the quadrant areas of the ground, filling in both corners of the North Stand to add an additional 9,000 seats.

Sir Bobby Charlton, former club striker and current club director, nicknamed the ground "The Theatre of Dreams".

@ Justkunmi,
No cause for alarm at the United Camp.
Ferguson went to Germany to do some scouting himself and u should expect about 3-4 inclusions in the team.
Ruud and Ronaldo are going nowhere according to a close source because Ferguson himself is no chicken-livered manager that dances to the tune of the Press.
Sir Alex needs the youthfulness of Rooney and Ronaldo to wrestle the title away from Chelski.

One cannot really say much for now but i understand Tomas Kuszczak(West Brom's goalie has been signed for £4m)

This is a peep on Ferguson's handbook of the likely transfers this summer

hey grizzly, are u a man utd fan?anyway , i heard ronaldo really wants to leave. he has told fergie that he'll be going on strike until he is sold to madrid, the guy's heart is no longer wit us,
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 11:34am On Jul 11, 2006
Justkunmi,

Don't regard the stuffs on 'em newspapers.

British Press hates Man Utd and they are always eager to cause disuntity in the team.
C. Ronaldo will never do a runner on a Ferguson who helped him develop and guide him through his tribulations when Cristiano lost his dad and his rape allegations.
As a matter of fact, Ferguson's assistant, Carlos Queiroz(a.k.a. Ronaldo's dad) has stepped into the matter and he has promised to bring Cristiano back to Manchester.

British Press voted Ronaldo out as the best young player at Germany 2006 and they are trying all they can to expel him from Man United.
Ronaldo is pivotal to Ferguson's success this season and  Fergie won't let Ronaldo go till he can find a suitable replacement in age and talent.

Jackal!
please dont use the british media as scape goat.
What of Chelsea? the team it branded the most hated in the world? No one complained.

With Man U nothing is exaggerated and like it or not you will lose Ronaldo if not to real then to any team outside England.
We were fooled they made up with Rooney only for him to be booed by England Hooligans of fanatics.
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 4:21pm On Jul 11, 2006
I can't understand why u believe Chelsea is the most-hated team in the world.
FYI, Man Utd is the most hated team in England by miles.

Do u know Rooney's cars were smashed even before the English team went to the world cup?
Ferguson's ideas are always questioned by the press.
Compare these 2 scenarios:
Arsenal's trophyless season(2005/06) Versus Man Utd's trophyless season (2004/05) and check out what the British Press said about the 2 managers.
I can go on and on. Mourinho is a new guy on the block so he has not even faced 1/10th of what Ferguson has faced so forget Chelsea being considered the most hated in England.

Man Utd and Millwall FC are the most hated teams in the world.

chelsea is not a hated team, they are just controversial because of their controversial and outspoken manager,  watever he says is controversial. unlike man u,  Arsenal lost 11 matches last season, nobody critisized them but when man utd lost to blackburn home and away, the british press were all over the place, saying ferguson hasn't got what it takes to win against blackburn.  I can reckon wit the reason man utd is hated,, people are always afraid of what we can do,  next season, we'll  prove everybody wrong.

i read today on man utd website that ferguson would not allow ronaldo to go anywhere,  he would not be sold no matter what he does. ronaldo just signed a contract that ties him to man utd till 2010 and he has to honor the contract,  nistelrooy too is not for sale. i think this is good news,  we need to strenghten our team not sell our best players,  fernando torres and owen hargreaves would soon join us,  michael carrick too.

looking forward to tyhe start of the new season,

NB; HAS ANYONE SEEN MAN UTD'S NEW JERSEY??

Man Utd is the king of English Football.
The Fanbase, The Assets, The Theatre of dreams, The Merchandise and everything just points Man U as the Kings of English Football.
Where is Liverpool on the Rich Club's list?
United were on top of this list for 8 years consecutively until this year when Real Madrid took over due to woeful UEFA performances of United in the last 2 seasons. United missed twice on UEFA's money splash by not getting to the latter stages of the competition thus dropping some £20m in revenue generated at the gate-takings and TV rights.

Good things are comin for man utd. Solskjaer is back and rearing to go. He scored two beautiful goals in man utd's 4 . 0 win against orlando pirates. D guy is back after missin 2 whole seasons. Scholes too played well. Next season would be a cracker. Cant wait for august 19, One united.

Ohhhhh My Daysssssssssssssssss.
Can u show me any rich man that is not succesful or can u show me a succesful man that is not rich?

Man Utd is the most succesful club in England by miles ahead of the Scousers.
When was the last time Liverpool won the Premiership? They have never won it since the premier league started in 1992.
Lets call a spade a spade, United holds the aces.
Man U is a club built on the sweats of great players and good management over the years.
The football brought the success and money to United but money brought football to Chelsea.
Get the difference?
