JS Park and Brown caught me eye. Park was rubbish at Camp Nou but lit up the stage at OT.
I can't even predict the starting XI for the final.
Of course, SCHOLESY will be playing, Ronaldo, Rooney, Apache, Rio, Vidic, Evra and Van Der Sar.

English clubs have now mastered the art of defending and scoring when they break.
Some years ago, English clubs go into these kind of matches gung ho and they get beaten mercilessly.
For instance, Italian teams have never shown any flair or samba-style football but they are always gritty and more on point.
They are technical and defend well. They catch opponents on the break and score one or two odd goals.
That is the way to do it. . . . . All the beautiful football can wait till the final when we meet the Chavs/Scousers.
The only question here is: IS TEVEZ HUMAN?

ohhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I told some people to get medical attention yesternight but they won't just listen! Any one still arguing about our performance so far in the UCL must have been watching the matches with the t.v upside down or something. Other than that, the person needs serious medical attention. Barca best attacking team my foot. They're just like Arsenal's brother to me They should start shouting that when trophies are created for such achievements Messi is a good player but trying to rate him higher than C.Ronaldo is just suicidal. The team was very good yesternight despite the match against Chelsea. At a point I almost thought Evra had turned into a striker. Despite his overlapping runs, Messi started moving into the middle from his wing sidewalking like a crab with ball. Why? He was trying to avoid him Scholes first tackle on Messi immediately the match started was to remind him that he was in OT and not a dancing contest. The defence contained Eto very well, I almost thought he was already out of the pitch before he was removed. Henry wanted to use his 'ogo' (back of the head) but Van denied him very well though I must confess my heart almost jumped out Park was something else. The way he was fighting for the ball at a time, I thought he was beginning to add chinese stunts C. Ronaldo was too good. He was a 'constant' threat to Barca's last 4. We can go on and on and on talking about how good it was. Haters can continue to whine and rue for themselves SAF was vindicated. Infact, I have named him OLUWADAMILARE He will be watching Ogogoro and Liverpool tonight and I'm sure he's going to be doing more than just watching. If Chelsea manages to come through, I'm sure a Drogba karate-kick goal won't be enough to win them a trophy this time around @ Tkb417 Shooting the person will make it too easy. @Reds, I always love the arguments generated whenever we play , win or lose. Inconsequential sides never generate such heat. i also know that no matter what we do peeps will always find something to say. Ronaldo dives,he doesn't play well on the big stage, Vida makes Rio look good, Abidal is a better player than Evra , Barca had more possession, Rooney should have had 2 yellow cards,yada yada yada. Fact: 1.We are 90 minutes(or more) away from a possible 3rd Champions League trophy. No contest. 2.We got to the final beaten a team touted as one of the best attacking sides in Europe without conceeding a goal. 3.We can still win 2 trophies this season(Amen) 4.When we do peeps would claim we won because of the Eto penalty that never was, the Ben Arfa miss, the mancini foul, the Wes Brown tackle that was not punished in the group stages, the second yellow card Rio should have got , the game Aston Villa lost and bla bla bla. 5.MU has a deeper understanding of the European game . English sides understand this very well now and hence the recent successes.  6.We are still the only unbeaten side in Europe this season and are yet to concede a goal in 5 champions league games 7.The last time we were unbeaten in Europe at this stage we won the Cup  8. Ryan Giggs must be kidnapped and released 22nd May 2008 Watch out for new titles but first lets celebrate another glorius night in Europe. WAN UNITED Manu4laif, i love this post. Ronaldo spear-headed United's attack. . . . . . We never really saw any of his great talents.
Fans of other clubs are so blind and useless and will never give credits to the Portugeezer.
They keep saying Ronaldo does not turn up in the big stages but i think more of that should be attributed to the way Fergie sets his team.
The only time Ferguson has gone gung ho in Europe was when United lost to Roma 2-1 in the Champions league last season.
Fergie knew he had to ATTACK to claw back the deficit and that made the return leg at OT very explosive.
Was Ronaldo absent in that game? I thunk he was magnificent. . . .He terrorised Italian defence all night and for that he is the best.
British media were all waiting to pounce on Ferguson if United had lost last night.
How many times has Fergie made em eat their words. . . . . Write Ferguson off at your own peril.
He is god. He sees things other plonkers/pillocks don't seeHey, Fergie just knocked Barca out of Europe without 2 members of the United's spine.

How Fergie gets away with murder like OJ Simpson beats me. . . . .
To win the Premier League (and maybe Champions League) with a centre half as right back(Brown) all season, one fit left back(Evra) and only 2 fit strikers would be an unbelievable feat.
United should never ask Tevez and Rooney to shoulder this burden by themselves again. The schitzo is taking a toll on em.
We are just plain lucky that Ronaldo has been a goal machine this year. Saha is an absolute disgrace. What a waste of a wage.
United need a big quality, durable striker next year and a right back, thats all.
Frazier Campbell should come back and get a few games and Manucho must be made to play next season.
With the FINISH line in sight and the UCL final not until 3 weeks against an English club, United will cop 6 points easily.
Hammers will get hammered on saturday and the Lactics woulda been safe by the time we visit the JJB stadium.
Fergie will def'ly roll out his big guns in these games and prolly keep Scholes and Giggsy fresh for the GRAND FINALE in May.

People that think otherwise can go tie a rope round their necks If we see an elephant, let's say we've seen an elephant (It's a yoruba saying) Don't know why some people keep trying to compare him with Messi. Bad thing is they won't even go for treatment  Ronaldo is an all round player. He dribbles, passes well, can hold the ball well, defend, win balls, feed teamates, has speed, wins and plays freekicks well, and above all score goals Whatelse does anyone need to see in a good player? When a player like that is really having a good game, people point to him with five fingers. As for Messi, it's only with one finger Sometimes, SAF formation needs a second look to really see why he's doing it like that. Almost everytime I feel his placement restricts Ronaldo's skills, we've come out tops so for that I respect him alot  I really wish Giggs watches the final or at least not play full time. He seems to slow down our attack most of the time now. I'm quite sure if Anderson had featured yesterday, he would have served as a good linchpin between our defense and attack @ Emperoh You've said it all. Sometimes, these smaller teams want to die on the pitch when they play MAN UTD. GOD pass all of them so I really believe we'll pull through. Chelsea can still slump. It doesn't take too long for effect of ogogoro to wane  I would really love to see them get their home record squashed before the end of the season UNITED ALL THE WAY! |

Chacal  I am not congratulating you to seek you or anyones approval I am an Arsenal supporter, but i will stand up to congratulate a rival if they do well, be it Scum United or anyone. Yesterdays game was at a knife's edge, and if Farca had more guts, they could have gotten an away goal, but like i said, United can only play what is in front of them. Be honest when you saw the team sheet, tell me if you were confident. Your getting through will not stop me congratulating you, even if either Chelscum or Liverpool (who every Gunner knows cheated us to get to the semis ) go through, i will congratulate their supporters. DOESN'T TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM ME!! I know Arsenal will eventually have their day in the sun , and i would expect rivals to congratulate us when we do ( even if it will be grudgingly). @ chac I disagree - we should've GONE ALL OUT for the league - Liverpool had a psychological edge in the CL tie and we should've steam rolled them and if we did, we'd have had increased confidence - footie is a game of sequences - win and build more confidence or keep stuttering. All the same congrats to the SCUM, they won by a piece of individual brilliance, and an arsenal of last season performance from Barca - all posession, no end product, no shots even except for one or two!  very poor indeed, like i said, the whole tie disappointed greatly, not like the fire-cracker Chelski is offering up right now - what tenacity, what skill That DD goal is the best team-work goal I've seen all season, close incisive passing, intelligent player movement and BANG! by DD beyond Reina Unbelievable! |

DD played all the games he could this season, even with injuries and all, and still scored two goals, ditto for Essien, but STILL they produced results
Resting players doesn't always produce results, Benitez rested but crashed out, Chelski instead WON twice - I think if AW played his strongest squad that Saturday, it might have been us facing Chelski tonightbut I'm glad Liverpool is out now - after cheating into the semi's, they don't deserve to go far.
This is a warning to all who believe signing expensive players results in success - Torres, Voronin, Babel, Mascherano, Leiva, Skrtel and the others, STILL NO trophy, and essentially a WORSE season than the previous for them. Money alone can NEVER win titles.
