All fingers crossed he will not wobble. He came through against Wigan 10 days ago so he will surely pass the test.

If this were the EPL i would rest easy,but this is the UCL where we're up against a very physical team.Drogba could murder Vida for good this time Grin And i don't think this ref will be looking to protect any United player.I just hope the man keeps his Slovakian eyes wide open.

@presido
For real?That's great news then.But i would hate a situ in which his performance will be lower than usual.Tonight is the wrongest night for Vida to wobble,honestly.

Vidic is not injured . . . .Ferguson asked him to sit out the training session yesterday as a precaution.
Fergie is cautious because of Vidic's air sickness and with the way Scholesy has been throwing tackles in the training session, i applaud Fergie's judgement to rest the Serb. Feruson himself told the media Vidic WILL START tonight.

Guys guys guys!!!!!!!!

Relax, its a 50/50 chance for both teams and that means the tension and/or confidence in both camps are equal Grin Grin Grin

A lot would come to play today, the pitch, Ref, Coaches, Fans and of course the players. The team that can adapt and get into their stride quickly should/must take advantage.
All in all we should be expecting an explosive encounter.

Who wants it more? I guess we 'll find out in bout 4hrs.

4 hours to kick off
Following the takes on 606

Cassiel
Yeah i may fall sick if we lose
Hopefully we will win
Am just a bit scared of Drogba and Chelsea's physical egde
The Pitch ain't going to be a wahala according to Fergie and Rio comparing it to what u have in England December and january

Fergie will play Vida even if he's on one leg
That guy gives his ALL to Manchester United and u need to see his spirit
Hopefully lets play well and win well.

Sure its air sickness alone?The old man may be keeping sealed lips on something more serious.I hope not tho.Those blue thugs have gotten it into their heads that United's defence will not be as strong as usual,with Vida as the weakest link,so i'm sure their confidence level will be soaring.That will definitely result in them pushing and prodding hard @ our defence,with their blue tinted sights focused on Vida.Trust me,they will definitely try to break him.I fear for the guy already Sad

@coded guy
4 hours already?Jeez,wherez the time flying to?Dude,50/50? With 'em Chavs confident they've found a weak link in Vida?Vida is one of our key players.How many of their key players are having problems at the moment?

Damn,i've gotta breathe.I'm beginning to sound like prophet worry wart.

I wonder if AG will be adventurous enough to try a Drogba-Anelka combo with Lampard giving fire.Mourinho might have done something like that.

@Emperoh
I feel you on the sickness thing sha.My heart is already thumping and it isnt even kick-off time yet!

@ Coded guy/Emperoh,

Why are u guys investing in scary business?

Scared with this Man Utd team? Are u guys this faithless?
Stop comparing this Man Utd team with the one that lost the FA cup last season.
The difference between the 2 teams is 60 million odd pounds. Look at today's bench compared to the bench we have had in the past.
United's chance of winning tonight is 60-40.

Anyways, cometh the hour. . . cometh the man.
THE HOLY TRINITY will blow Chelsea's muppet defence apart.
I have never been this confident about Man Utd going into a big game.
Saha is fit(that shows u how excellent the team is. . . .Clean bill of health).
United fans. . . . .You are about to witness the purest, flawless and free-flowing attacking football.

I don't think anybody's being scared or faithless here,just the usual jumpiness you feel before a huge game and concerns over the negative news in circulation such as the poor state of the pitch,the certainty of Vida being a hundred percent and the very physical opponents we've got.Players aren't always in control of every little thing,y'know.We can win,yes,but over-confidence never helped anybody.Tell me you are very calm right now and see if thunder won't slice your left ventricle in two. @ Xerxes

Am not being faithless just giving the other team their due respect.
Many things will come to play today like Fergie's selection, he does have a way of surprising us time and time again.
Like i asid earlier, chelsea are no push overs and it will do us good to actually look at their strenghts are nutralize em . .
They sure lnow how to grind out result.

Am confident we will do chelsea, just anxious bout Fergie's selection.

@ Cristalz

Am sure you must have heard Maka almost murdered Cole Grin Grin
we were lucky with the scholes and Nani on Tevez issue.

Grant has got no BALLS, He 'll be cautios, so i expect his normal 4-5-1 atleast in the first half.

@coded guy
Hmm,this one that players are attempting to murder each other during training,one can imagine what the real thing will be like.Blood bath!!!! Grin Grin

Its in games like these that i really notice the differences between AG and Jose.I'm still wondering if he'll be bold enough to try the Drogba-Anelka combo,Lampard supporting.Or if he'll just leave his boys in their usual EPL positions and assume his chin-in-hand posture on his seat thruout the entire 90 mins Grin

@ Cristalz

Leave AG alone, am sure he is still confused as to how he got to where he is today. Grin Grin Grin
AG will start cautiously, and i think thats the cue for us to take the game to chelsea.
I just want us to play our nomal free flowing Purposeful soccer, it brings out the best in Manchester United. Being Over cautious Reduces our full potentials.

As per the Blood bath, lets just hope no one gets red carded early in the game
That would gravely compromise any of the the team's quest.

United 4 Life!!!!!!!!!

LMAO  Grin Grin Grin Gosh,that waz funny.

You're right about United being over-cautious.It totally kills their game.No need for respect or being gentle tonight o.United have got to go all out,devilish guns blazing till the very end.And Van der Saar should be on the lookout for those last-minute goals Chelsea's fond of scoring.

Anyway i think Rooney's going to get a yellow.Hez got great fighting spirit y'know,whether playing or actually fighting. Grin

@reds
please pray no violence happens in lagos today. u'd think this was england or moscow.
My takes
1.tHis game wiIl Be won by someone's mistake(CoIe or Essien) .
2.lf Vida is not fit he shouldn't start,  he might last only a few minutes anD then you have to move to plan B .
