what amuses me is how the sports moderator allows fleabags like dyabman to roam freely on this sports section. i suggest a proper brain-check should be done for all the schmuks running around this zone. how come? congratulations to all the man utd fans in the house. more success shall follow this.

in other words, unless members report the moderator cannot discern herself that some comments are ludicrous or senseless. this is interesting.

don't get me irritated with your defense. a moderator should know when to delete provocative comments that may spark fights. u do not wait for members to report to u before u delete threads that are being recycled. why do u now need members to report comments before u can delete them? we are not going off-topic, mod. i am just asking u a simple question why u allow senseless posts to thrive on threads.

interesting stuffs. from what i can deduce here, simpletons thrive on this forum because they have a listening/reading audience who cheer them. what a life. the degree of the social decadence is alarming. moderator, i think it's about time u sanitise this place. get rid of morons who writes gibberish and the audience who cheer.

you know the funny thing, when the premiership was about to start in july 2007, there was lots of activity,

now the prem is over and euros are about to start, the sports thread has all of a sudden become boring,

jackal is no where to be found,

hucarson has probably gone to bed early,

akola is somewhere in the blue

kitaun is lounging somwhere,

everyone has gone, well, we'll have to wait for july then, and we'll hope that the thread comes alive again,

who knows, ronaldo might fracture his leg at the euros,  Grin

Manchester United is said to be after Daniel Alves (Sevilla) again to replace Luis Saha who may be going to Westham United since they are interested in him and because his performance was not all that good this season. We need a good striker to fill in the goals we always loose in matches.

I believe we are also after Luis Fabiano of Sevilla (Right Back) to take the position of Wes Brown whenever Brown is covering for either Ferdinand or Vidic since we are loosing Gerrard Pique to Barcelona.

____________________
PERSONAL OPINION

Patrice Evra was fantastic last season and we have a good Left Back in Mikael Silvestre but @ 31 all he can produce is skill and experience. And a better left back in John O'shea but sometimes fails to perform in that position.

We need a player with speed conbined with experience and skills to man that position. I have a feeling that a person like Taye Taiwo would do for such position. The guy normally scores Penalty, free kicks, and his left footed shot  is rated amongst the fastest in the world @ about 130km/hr.

If not him, we need someone close. Or else if Patrice should fall short in performance and O'shea still making mistakes we may need some reinforcement.

All I am saying is we need a left back before we loose Silvestre.

Oh, our Maradona must stay too. We need Carlos Tevez in that squad. Carlos is always there when you need him most. He never lost touch in every match.

@moderator
now i know why people get banned. no one gets banned until they are reported. Interesting, i think i now know what to do to the many idiots on the sports forum.

@cougar
its berra u just let this pass, most people really love it when they praise them as world 'heavy weight yabber' someone even called himself that . This is Nairaland, we must live with these things

@Mancs
What do u guys think of this Real/Ronaldo saga
i think this thing isnt really difficult, we aint a bank so we don't need the 100 million. if Real wants him, then they should send robinho, Ramos and schneider to us and we'll be fine.

if barca wants him, then Messi and Bojan will be ok. No need to fight over a footballer, we can also make ridiculous demands to ward off the irritants and if Ronaldo insists on a transfer, then since he still has a valid contract, we'll give him F.O.C to Fernabache!!!!

@nazzyon
i wouldnt want taiye taiwo for united.
yes the dude has got a great left feet and his fast but is extremely defensively inadequate.
commits unnecessary tackles (remember how messi did him in for 2 penalties in the same game)
he is often out of position, all liverpool's counter attacks found him ou of position when liverpool played marseille in france this season.
i hope evra gets a new deal soon, the signing of evra and vidic at the same time, though low key at the time has turned out to be one of alex's best buys in a long time, those two effectively gave united a shot at winning titles, vidic balanced the previously dilletante and detached ferdinand and in evra we have an attack minded left bag who will stand up to the likes of messi if need be.

@tkb417
long time.
Ronaldo is going nowhere.
Sir alex says united will rather sit him in the stands than sell to real, who needs robinho? talkless mr sneider and mr ramos.
if the boy really wants to go, he will go but on our own terms and definitely not this summer.
