Lamps and Drogs can ferk off far as I care. But Essien and Carvalho? No chance! Chelsea won't sell em. We'D rather bench em sef, like Man jew in Ronnie's case.

@razorr
nice one ure here
good to see u once in a while

I don't really think Essien will leave for Seria A. hes loving the EPL
As for CR7. i think we should sell him for Real so far they can give us their goalkeeper, Ramos and Robinho. That will be good biz.
those spaniards need to be taught some lessons.

Lamps can ferk off??? You serious with that statement?? Lamps to me is more important at Chelsea than Essien. He's like the spirit binding the players togetherHe's got that English thang going. . Just like Gerrard at Anfield. .
But I guess money can buy a replacement shey??

tkb
I love your bizznezz sense. . .
CR7 for Casillas, Robinho and I think I'ld prefer Higuain. . not Ramos. . .

@TKB

No chance! Real won't give u those three plus cash for Mr. Oilsheen. Make no mistake about it, if Real want Ronnie, they'D get him whether you like it or not, especially since the boy wants to play for em.

@JK

Lamps just does not cut it with the style of footie Monsieur cash wants at the club. If Chelsea's quality of play is to improve, we'D need a better play-maker than Lamps. And trust me, we've got the cash to find a better replacement, especially as he's nearing the end of his career anyway.

@Razorr
ooooh, ure one of those who think Real can get CR7 because he wants to play for them
i seeif they want him, since he has a valid contract with us, they should be ready to part with plenty cash plus Robinho and let me be lenient their goalkeeper.

we aint Barclays Bank and we don't really need the dough because sometimes money don't buy quality. Examples (Anelka) hehehehehehe

and again, i think its an ego thing now because the Glazers are red faced already. they are angry and they just told Calderon to "go to hell"
im waiting to see the outcome of this
most likely, CR7 will leave with heavy cash + a player going our side
fingers crossed. . .

J-K
do u think that guy will stay?
i think the mumu wants to go abroad.

Ronaldo would eventually leave, but not now. Pro'ly after a season or 2. Fergie said this morning he held a meeting with the Glazers and they said. ."We'ld rather put Ronaldo in the stands than sell him to Real".

Ronaldo def'ly wants to play in Spain. .Heard it was his mother's wish to see him play in Real before she dies. . .what crap
But not this season. .

@TKB

You just don't seem to get it, do you?

Obviously you don't understand the way of the Galactikos. Real Madrid would get whomever they want, when they want em, especially when the player wants to go. They've got the money, so don't be shocked if they decide to do the unbelievable and buy out Ronnie's contract.

Don't forget that they've got a very balanced squad from attack to defence, hence they can afford to spend most of their transfer kitty this year on one player, especially if the player in question is Mr. Oilsheen - the delectable Christiano Ronaldo. Grin

Get over it! If Ronnie wants to go, there's nothing you can do to stop him. Remember Arjen Robben last season?

@Razorr
Nah!! Buying out a contract isnt as easy as ure typing it. What if United says NO and seek for legal redress? the only party that will suffer is Ronnie. He will neither be here nor there but i don't think United will go that far. instead, i expect United to turn this imbroglio to cash+player. United and Real have got nothing to lose but Ronnie should be the one to tread carefully.

In Robbens case, the people at Chelsea decided to sell. there can never be an offer when there is no buyer. If United says NO, their is nothing Ronnie can do.

and one more thing, if hes hell bent on leaving, then we can decide to sell to AC or another big club but not REAL
remember Heinze

@J-K
i don't think Ronnie wants to stay. why will he be annoucing decisions whether to stay or leave when der is no official offer from Real
i think we should turn this wahala to cash+ a good Real player. No point fighting over him

we are Manchester United!!!!

You have started again this year. . . . Remember Carlos Alberto Tevez?
Fergie only sells players he doesn't want. Cristiano Ronaldo will only move to Real Madrid if Fergie wants him to go.
Without Ferguson, it's impossible for Real Madrid to sign him. . . . . .The Glazers have vowed to keep him on the stands(he won't even be on the bench) if the need be.

Arjen Robben left because Jose Mourinho/Peter Kenyon wanted him off. Does Madrid have the spending power of Man Utd and Chelsea? Nope.
Ferguson does not LOSE. He will rather sell Ronaldo to PSV or Ajax than Real Madrid this time.

@Jackal

Neither Mourinho nor Kenyon wanted Arjen Robben out! Can't believe I'm even hearing this from you. Quite disappointing!!
Robben left because the Galactikos wanted him and he wanted to leave! Nuff said!

I doubt that United or Ferguson would be stupid enough to wreck Ronaldo's career by benching him like they are threatening, considering the serious damage it would do to your reps.

Real Madrid would get Ronnie if they really set their mind to it. The management of Manchester United know this and that's why they have started panicking even though Madrid has not made any official bid for the player in question.

Why are a few quote's in the press about a club's admiration for a particular player giving the management of United such sleepless nights if the impending transfer were impossible as a certain Jackal would have us believe? Grin

Like you said, if things get murkier, its only Ronaldo that would suffer.
United holds all the cardsand I love Fergie for his blunt way of dealing with players. .If he feels your becomng more of a nuisance to United, you get the boot. .
Now, he doesn't want to sell Ronaldo and he would not. No body can pressure Fergie into a sale or a buy infact.

He sold Ruud and Heinze because he wanted to. , and I think Real are taking that for granted and making this Ronaldo case longer than usual. .

Fergie has the final say, and if he says no to Ronaldo, it means no

Re: Champions of England, Champions of Europe : Forever Reds

@ Razorr,

Stop spewing like a semi-illiterate!

Ronaldo is in a 4-year contract meaning he is not even available in the market.
However, a deal will be possible if Ferguson/David Gill feel Ronaldo should move on and reh reh reh. The snag to this is Man United are not happy about the way Real Madrid have gone about it so it will be a battle of 2 giants. The last time i checked, Real Madrid are way below us in terms of fanbase and raw cash so they cannot even compete.

This will not be a matter of wrecking Ronaldo's career . . . . . it will be a matter of United flexing their mystic powers. remember Gabriel Heinze? He wanted to join Liverpool but ended up in Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo might end up in Arsenal if he pushes his luck too far. Madrid has no say in this, Mr Calderon mentioned it that Ronaldo is like a wet dream. It's the equivalent of Razorr having dreams of shagging Brad Pitt(na yam?) Grin Grin
In a nutshell, Ronaldo will only move to Real Madrid if Ferguson allows it. Mikel Obi joined Chelsea because Ferguson allowed him to go.

@ Justkunmi,

To be honest, it's not abnormal for Ronaldo to dream of moving on. He is too good for this league.
Should he stay, he would probably score another 50 goals next season, win PFA awards and lead Man Utd to do 3 in a row. It must be boring for the Portugeezer that no one can touch him in England/Europe.
If Real offers £80 million, Fergie should let him go and get Messi. I think FOOTBALL is now about Forbes!

Re: Champions of England, Champions of Europe : Forever Reds

Madrid cannot buyout ronaldo's contract. the current one has no buy out clause, sorry!
ronaldo will only leave if united agree to sell.
and that is definitely not happening this summer.
However even if he were to leave in 2 or 3 years, he'll join a long tine of players who went from man-utd to real madrid to settle for la liga and la liga alone, the list of rvn, heinz, beckam.
remember how heinz so badly wanted to sign for the scousers, ? not under alex's watch, the man has been there, done that, got the tshirt.
man-utd made ronaldo and he only wins with us. he has no other trophies, none with portugal and u can be sure portugal aint wining euro 2008. its the attacking ethos that sir alex builds into the team that is united not individual talents. eric cantona retired but that dint mean arsenal or chelsea started winning the epl, in fact united went on to win the treble, rvn left and dudes thot we were finished, and look whats happened, we've won more without him,

Temmie
your dead right mate. . .

Fergie decides who goes where and when. , The Beckham story was just too dramatic to forget in a hurry. If anyone actually forgot, the Ruud sale would surely refresh your memory. Fergie decided to sell.
That is the biggest factor in all of this. Not even the Glazers decide. .
Even if Calderon goes into the entire Spanish treasury to try to buy out Ronaldo from the tight grip of his contract, it would only fall through if Mr. Fergie allows. . .

. . .and with the way this is going, Fergie mite get so angry and mite decide to show Real and Ronnie who's boss and sell him to Arberdeen,   Grin

@tkb417,

What i mean is. . . . . . .Cristiano Ronaldo winning everything without really pushing himself is getting BORING.
He missed 4 league games and still banged in 42 goals. He coulda hit 50 goals this season without really breaking sweats.
It's normal for him to seek new challenges like Ruud or Robben. . . . . Ruud has now won 3 golden boots in 3 different leagues.
I think Ronaldo wants to emulate such challenges rather than stay in the EPL and cop all individual accolades again.

I just feel we can do more and this Ronny shit is getting at me. I think the guy wants another challenge and might actually be more at home in Spain than in England. I think Real know this and that's why they're just lurking.In instances like this I trust Baba would always do that which is best for the club.  Cool

great nighti was in another realm that night. . .
great great feeling. . .

The Ronnie issue has been over flogged.
The spanish press are the ones fuelling Calderon's interest in Ronnie. He said it himself last week that he knows Ronnie is bound by a contract and a sensible team would not want to lose its best players. .
Most of the issues we hear all started from the spanish press trying to force a record buy by Madrid.
And they just built on Ronaldo's age long dream of playing in Real. . .

Well like you said, if he wants to go, He had better be allowed, but I trust Fergie to do the right thingand the last time I checked he said, Ronaldo is going nowhere Grin Grin

Bro ave been around. Sometimes don't see the need to contribute because peeps don't analyse stuff like before , just fights fights fights.

Looking back at the season I think the turning point might have been our loss to Pompei. Bad as it was it ensured we could concentrate on the 2 more important trophies. Fergie will be stupid not to wrap things up ASAP. I think Euro 2008 and the Olympics will also slow things down for Man Utd.
It will be a tricky season for United as we would be playing more games this time around. United will be playing catch-up.

Fergie got away with murder last season. Who wins European double without a recognised out n out striker? Shocked Shocked Shocked
We needed 2 strikers after Ruud left because we all knew Saha would struggle to play 10 games. To make it worse, we lost Solskjaer and Rossi.
Granted, we have added Manucho so it means we now need 2 power strikers. Giggs, Scholes and Neville would age by august.
I think we need 4-5 additions. Tongue Tongue Tongue

Without a doubt, Klass is sheer class.
To me, he is the best out n out striker out there. Forget what Torres has done at Liverpool.
Huntelaar would surpass that record if he joins Man Utd. Grin Cheesy

Fabiano is great too but Klass is designed for English games!!!!
He is the hard-working version of Ruud van Nistelrooy.
