No need to argue with Dayokanu. . . . .

Wes Brown plays for the English/European champions.
He played against top players in Europe last season and there was never a time he was found wanting.
Brown played in the heart of the defence against Barcelona and the ingenuity of Messi, Henry, Bojan, Xavi and Iniesta couldn't break him.
As a result of his outstanding performance last season, he was thrusted as the number one right back in England and helped the country beat Croatia 4-1 in Zagreb.

wait, if u say hes not a world class defender, then what would u call someone who has won 2 UCL trophies?

You stated that he is world class because he has won 2 UCL and i gave you a list of players/defenders who have won 2 or more UCL and for you to fit them into the world class league you are now skipping.

That means your premise for making brown a world class player is Flawed in logic if it can not stand any rigour.

By drawing a parallel with the example you gave, your argument failed

Its called critical reasoning which you are poor at Not Critical Drinking which you are good at Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

Individual ability is a qualitative measure not a quantitative one.

In the man Utd defence Brown is the weakest,
In the EPL he does not get a mention,
He struggles to get a starting shirt in a below par national team.
No analyst in the world would mention 100 defenders and include Brown,
Wonder why Faggotson was relunctant to increase his pay last season? No one wastes time with a world class defender.
The moment Brown leaves Man Utd the next port of call would be Ipswich to play amongst his peers.
The same fate that befell plonkers like Phil Neville, Djemba-Djemba, Alan Smith, Quinton Fortune, Saha, Jesper Blomqvist, David May, Nicky Butt-hole, David reBELLION, Liam Miller,

Eboue, Toure, Senderos played against Zidane, Ronaldo, beckam, Guti and did not concede a goal in 180 minutes mean Senderos, Eboue and co are world class

Eboue and Senderos did not win the UCL, Brown did.
He was part of the formidable United defence that did not concede at OT in the K.O stages and did not lose a single game throughout the competition.
It's a tad folly to compare Wes Brown to Senderos. He is a product of the academy and one of the fledgings of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Just like David Beckham, Scholes and George Best were all part of the same academy!!!
Wes Brown is England's #1 Right Back and United's number one right back.
U don't have to be a rocket scientist to know Man Utd is the best team in Europe as we speak.
They achieved that greatness on the back of a formidable defence that conceded least goals in the Premiership and the UCL in one single season.
Wes Brown is world class!!!

England's right back means nothing because England is crap!!!! Russian , czech republic right back should be world class too.

Oleguer and van bronckhorst were the full backs at Barca in 2006,
Djimi Traore and Steve Finan were the full backs at Liverpool in 2005,
Nuno valente and Paolo ferreira were the full backs in 2004 Porto and Portugal does this mean they are all world class?

You have indeed broken a world record. Typing over 100 words without making any sense!!!!

Alan Hansen might not have been in the right frame of mind when he said that or better still incompetent.
Why did Fergie footdrag to give him 50,000 a week last year? SAF knows he is worth far less If not for Nevilles injury and Man Utd limitation at the right back position he would have been shipped to Charlton where he rightfully belongs.

They all shipped staggering amount of goals on their way to win the UCL.
I am not talking about the defenders that have won the UCL but how they went on to win it
For example, Traore and Finnan conceded 3 goals in the FINAL against Milan. . . . .United did not even concede more than TWO throughout the knock-out stages of the same competition last season. Man Utd conceded just 2 goals in 7 games in the knock-out stages.
Whatz the comparison here??

Money is no object. . . . . . .Wes Brown is from Manchester(a home-grown target).
David Beckham's fees at Man Utd never went past £50k and the likes of Sol Campbell were making £80k per week at Arsenal.
Wes Brown is under-rated but u can hardly fault his performance last season.
His assist(a one-two ball with Scholes and his delightful cross with his left foot) to find Ronaldo's head in Moscow was top drawer.

Have you heard of someone relunctant to give the most talented footballer a 50,000 a week contract.
What would he call those earning 80k and above?

Brown the most talented? either you or Fergie must be a comedian in training. Then what is Vidic, Ronaldo, Scholes? Gods right

Alan Hansen was probably Shagging Brown or have been having binge nights with TKB

Quote

Lyon was in the knockout stage!

FC Porto did not concede in the Final, Semis,. Man Utd did not concede in the semis and quarters.  so whats the difference. Man Utd did not concede to a barca team who were obviously having scoring problems coming into the match.

For this argument to be valid and consistent you must compare it to how much home grown talents like Raul, Totti, DelPiero, Scholes, Schweinsteiger, Maldini, Puyol, Terry and Gerrard earn

What about Roma??
The same Roma that knocked out Real Madrid(Spanish Champions) by beating em HOME and AWAY.
They had scoring problems too i guess because they won by tossing a coin in both legs.
U don't have a point. The Porto team that won the UCL that season had world class players too.
Carvalho was the best defender in the UCL in 2004. . . . .Same position Wes Brown played and did not concede a goal against Roma and Barca.

TKB just go and sleep last weekends hangover is still troubling you.

Scoring against Real madrid is the easiest thing Even this season . Teams like Arsenal, Roma, bayern, Leverkusen punished them heavily, and lately Real Union knocked them out in a 6-6 aggregate, Check all their games they ship goals in bucketfuls

Man Utd has world class players like Vidic, Ronaldo and Tevez but to now call every member of the starting 11 world class is over the top

Karaoke?? Nsobu Dikwa!!! Wahala ti de!! Are you the performer or the spectator? Maybe karaoke means a Bar!!

Last season most Spanish teams were in trouble.
Barca was having a horrid time with several key players injured.
Valencia changed coaches and almost had a mutiny Some players were expelled.
Sevilla's coach resigned mid season,
And all sorts of problems made Madrid to win.

Check the last few weeks of the La Liga last season and you would know what I am saying about Barca

Wes Brown Has duely acquitted himself in the above definition you gave;
Provided assist in United's goal in UCL finals
Covered and Deputised Well for Vidic during the 2007/08 UCL Quarter and Semi-final
Was part of the Treble winning side of '99
Has been decribed as the most natural and consumate defender in England and Europe
Even though with a career blighted by injury, he rose last term to stand shoulders high above all Right full backs in the English Premier league

There is no and i Repeat, NO right full back better than Wes Brown in the English Premier League
Pray tell me what?

Bosingwa? That seems not to know how to Mark and Close. Clueless when faced with a Strong going forward is blunt in such occassions
Sagna? Tenacious at the back but totally clueless going forward. (Brown is not as good doing forward but does better compared to Sagna)
Alvaro Arbeloa? Shit if you ask me. Lacks the tenacity and guile of a modern day two.
I have just analysed The RB's of the top four. Any other name you mention here is shit else he is supposed to with a club in the top four.

The one and only defender in Europe that compares greatly with Brown and whom i accept is great is Sergio Ramos
But with the Way they leak goals, i beg to differ here.

Brown has the tenacity of a defender, guile and brains of a footballer and goes forward without exposing his back.
Can you beat that?

Was compared in the 99/00 season to be as good as Jaap Stam
Can you beat that?

In United Defence, and given the work he does, there is none better than him at Right back
In comparaison with other defenders, he is as good as Vida having deputised well in his absence without conceding.
And also shutting the door of the United Defense in Barca'a face.

And spare me the line that Barca wasn't scoring because they didn't get to the semis, Scoring penalties
They scored goals. With the whole of;
Messi's artistry
Etoo's goal poaching skills
Henry's defence splitting runs#
Xavi and Iniesta's eagle eyes and pin point pass,

United's defence marshalled by Rio Ferdinand and Wesley Brown couldn't be unlocked.
