they try to justify themselves i had a sort of argument discussion with some of my muslim classmates the other day, they took a good one hour of my time  . they were trying to forcing me to c that islam is the only true religion. they sound brainwashed to me, no offence. one told me one of Mo's wifey was 6, and then, another told me the same wifey was 14 r they trying to hide something  forgetting i aint stupid and they hate jews, oh my days. apparently, no jew will go to heaven r u trying to say my gramps wont go to heaven  judge not and ye shall not be judged!! i hate the way they think they're perfect. it get's on my nerves!! i am proud to have a forgiving God. one who doesn't force u to pray 5 times a day, in a particular position. one who doesn't make u give out half ur wealth (or whatever) literally ( that's what i've been told by my muslim fundamentalist friends, so, don't think i'm misquoting u lot)!!! if u r good, u will go to heaven. that's what i was taught, and that's what i'm sticking to. if my God was so mean that he wouldn't let jews go to heaven, then he can go kiss ma ass because jews r still humans, i know they refused to believe it was abdusallam, or is it mohammed, r allah, whichever one, who tried all he could to show them he was God. between, i was not born muslim before my parents made me a christian. because apparenlty, that's wot u r told to believe!! |

Some argue that pedophilia is a societal construct,hence,whether one is a pedophile depends on what the society deems the legal age of consent.The argument is that Mohammed intercourse with Aisha at 9 doesn't amount to pedophilia since the society at the time didn't see that as immoral
Another thing is that pedophilia denotes exclusive or prefential attraction to pre-pubescent children.None of Mohammed's other known relationships involved children,Aisha was an exception to the rule.
The larger issue for me is the fact that Mohammed is supposed to be the uswa hasana(excellent model of conduct) for Muslims.His deeds are to be emulated by Muslims for they constitute the ideal model of behaviour.Such actions by Mohammed belie this concept of uswa hasana.
There is also the implication that Allah approved of this act.By that token,Allah does not deem it wrong for one to sleep with a 9 year old whether in 7th century Arabia or now.It is the mores of contemporary society that deem it wrong not Allah.
Is Mohammed a pedophile?Nobut unless you believe that sleeping with a 9 year old is okay,you will realise that this belies Mohammed's claims.

Well, You still need more research on this,it is true that Muhammad proposed to Aisha at the age of 9 but the marriage tradition took place when aisha saw her first mensuration at the age of 14,this is the manifestation of her being matured before Muhammad disvirgined her.You can not compare a 14yrs old typical arabia girl with a 14yrs old African girl,they are different.Mr. Critique,if you don't know,ask from those who knows.Massalam

At least, what is bad or good should not be time dependent. Considering the medical/ emotional/psychological trauma associated with paedophilia, I beg Allah should ve known and told Mohammed not to do it, or may be Mohammed refused to listen and got carried away by his erotic side, bad guy. Any way, at least Mohammed should not ve survived in modern day and where ever he is now, he should be ashamed of his behaviour.
For all those priests that slept with children, at least hand meet some of them while on earth, for those that died before justice cld reach them, what a pity. Mohammed got away with his crime to humanity, at least while on earth. This is the only case recorded that he committed, who knows how many more he did that was not recorded, once a paedophile, always a paedophile.
