Would You Tell Your Friend?
« on: September 27, 2008, 12:28 AM »

Hello peeps. would you tell your friend you caught his/her partner cheating ? what if they are the kind that  believes their partner could never cheat on them , What would you do? are you going to look over it and let your friend find out, or you will feel guilty if you don't tell him/her whats up and does that makes you a bad friend?

do you have experiences from the past with the same issue how did you handle it/ or how would you handle it?

Unless you have proof, don't bother saying anything

Girls can be irrational and blame you instead

There isn't any need for you to say anything only leave a trace. If he/she is your best friend, All you can only do is ask him/her to imagine 'what would he/she do if someone told him/her that his/her man/woman is cheating on him/her ? from there an Idea would set in, In, and, Out Lips sealed Cheesy Shocked

NO

i have been in that situation twice and the women in question denied it ( i won't share the long details here) . I found myself in my friend's black book and up till this moment we are not on good terms (i don't care).

My friends did believe me at first but trust women at their games, i don't know what happened between them but i was told (twice in two different scenarios) point blank to mind my fu*king business and not interfere again.

Since then i have been minding my business, no matter what i see, i am always on my own.

Except for my siblings, but for friendship i let it be and leave it to them to find out.

I must swear that this a very dicey topic one that cud eventually severe a great friendship i would ask my self one question would my friend do same for me if he caught my girl in the act but the truth is that any girl that doesnt seems comfy with her man any more that she now opts to go out should be treated with a bold thought for that reason i am going to tell my frd after all what are friends for if not for in-conveniences

It depends on the person really. . .  some people hide from the truth and would direct their anger at u if u try to show it to them.

Ideally I would shut my trap and mind my business but there i certain people who i knw can handle it and who would do the same for me so I feel i owe it to them to let them knw.

I wouldn't tell them but I will drop hints and lead them to find out for themselves but I'd never directly tell because even if you're right and even if they believe you, if you have anything to do with the breakup somehow from then on, you'll be known as the relationship breaker and your friend will never trust you with a relationship again because she'll feel you're always looking for something bad in the guy and something wrong in the relationship.

Right after I walk up to him and tell him he is a dog I will call my "close friend". It has to be a close friend though

This has happened to me before. I was told that a friend was screwing my babe till the day I caught them pants down. I did not believe till the day I caught them in her house right on her bed. Today, we are grown up. I have screwed two of his girlfriends and if he isn't carefull I will screw his wife!. It depends on the way you want to handle it because I gave her up.

@karma

even if there is a proof, its better not to say a thing, let the girl find out herself

if d girl loves d guy, they might stil come back again,at d end of d day u will bcome d enemy

its better to keep shut ,let the person find out herself

I wouldnt. Especially if it is a very close friend of mine.

I would subtly try to put some doubts about their partners in their minds but will not come out straight and tell on the other partner.

Relationships are private and personal areas in every human, so I try as much as I can to stay out of other peoples businesses.

Proof or no proof, Jenny is right. You would change from being a concerned friend to relationship-destroying enemy.

don't ever get involved in other peeps businesses. Period.

before you interfere in your friend's relationship
you have to be sure, because you might end up
on the wrong side.

but if i am in that shoe, instead of going directly to
my friend, i will first of all meet with her,
2 know why she did what she did,
after that, i will talk to her about it.
definitely she will changed for better
that way you have saved a life

I have three very best friends and all three I would tell this to.  All of my other friends they would find out on their own.

I know that I can tell this to my very best friends because we have all discussed this together.  We have decided that we would want to know what the other has seen and what is going on.

With the rest of my friends the relationships are too new to be able to deal with something like this.

My family of course I will tell, in fact one of my best friends, screwed one of my brothers girlfriends and i told my brother. . . it damaged their relationship for a couple of months but did nothing to ours.  he understood why i told my brother and understood that i will always tell me brother and respected me more after it came out.

So it really depends on the type of friendship you have with person and what type of person they are.  Some can handle the truth and others prefer to burry their heads in the sand.

well well,it depends on how close we are and ten i will have a very good idea of her thinking pattern. i would tell her even though girls can be irrational and not use their head in most cases i'll tell her with solid proof that is,else i'd die of guilt and if it were me i'd want to know.
