what is the source of water that you use to bath? did you change your bathing soap or sponge recently? for how long have you noticed it? is it a recent occurrence? any body rashes? your answer to all these questions will help make a fair judgment. you may be reacting to something that you are allergic to. answer my questions first then we will go on from there. YOYO bitters has no proven medicinal value. may have some nutritional values but honestly, i don't know. there is nothing like a drug that cleanse the blood. the blood is not dirty anyway.

Sisterwoman. Let me help with some basic info. By "tubes" I hop you mean fallopian tubes of the uterus. If its so then the answer is YES. But other thing is how effective are the tubes after. This will depend on wether there was any trauma during the procedure and if there is any infection of the reproductive organs such as PID that may block the tubes or even cause fibrosis. Lots of gynaecologist may cut the tubes instead of tying them. So the whole issue may be that complicated and thus the advice and profer counselling before the procedure and offer for other means of contraception such as injectables and pills. hop you find this info useful. You may ask any further question on our new forum at www.nmakaduna.org/dokita

I guess i just need to take a test and stop freaking out. It has been 4 years and really thought I would nothing to worry about until around year 10.

@sistawoman Lets talk about tubals
tubal ligation in common terms means getting your tubes tied in order to achieve a somewhat permanent form of contraception. the tubes are cut and then sealed. this will prevent sperm from reaching the egg so there will be no fertilization. can be done through vagina or laparascopically but in nigeria, the regular laparatomy is used commonly. please note that this form of contraception is not popular in africa because of its permanence unlike in developed world. it is still possible to get pregnant after a tubal but it is one in a million so it is very effective. depending on your age, it can still be reversed with considerable hope of getting pregnant. if you are under 30yrs by the time you seek reversal, the odd against you is less than 40% . in some centers pregnancy rate after reversal can be as high as 90% depending on the age. any side effect yes beacuse you have to remember that you are creating an artificial menopause so there is what we call post tubal syndrome. may be because the doctor damaged vessels supplying the ovaries thereby leading to hormonal imbalace and symptoms mimicking menopause. How long do they last? like i said it is usually permanent but you can seek for reversal. the earlier you seek for reversal, the better your chances of getting pregnant post reversal.
is it possible for my tubes to come untied?
yes but rarely. there is an adage in yoruba that it is the road that is trying to stop a flood that will be destroyed but as for the flood, it must pass. sometimes, sperms are so desperate to complete their mission and somehow,the human body will just grow new tubes outside the one fixed in order to create an alternative passage. this is rare but it has happened before. feel free to seek clarifications

Good day everyone. please I have a particular skin problem that I've been battling with for a while. I don't know what it is called in English but it is called "Ifo" in yoruba. this thing is now spreading over my body and it's disgusting. It's not a matter of hygiene because I'm really good at being hygienic but I don't know the reason for this thing. Sometimes ago,I do put dettol in my bathing water may be it could help but all to no avail which I stopped later and for more than a year now, I've been using dettol soap consistently. I don't mind changing the soap,cream or anything just to have a clean skin. Nairalanders please help me out. Someone even told me yesterday that he will pay for any soap or cream that could remove this thing totally from my face for you to imagine what it is. hope someone will be there to help me out.

Hello Oby/Gyn, For the treatment of long term secondary ammenorrhea & lack of ovulation, i noticed 3 herbal supplements online. They are Ovulex, Fertilaid and Fertiliblend.
Ovulex: Restores the hormonal functions and corrects nutritional deficiencies. This helps in normalizing the menstrual cycle, an absolutely essential condition for conception. Extends the ovulation cycle, thereby increasing chances of conception. Strengthens the walls of the uterus which prevents the chances of a miscarriage. Strengthens the immune system. An all natural product, Ovulex side effects are almost none. Cheap compared to the other options available, which are not only more expensive but also do not guarantee an equally high rate of success. Ovulex pills contain only natural ingredients such as Chaste Tree Berry, Dong Quai, Arizona Red Clover Blossoms, Licorice Root, Siberian Ginseng, Red Raspberry Leaf And Black Cohosh.
Fertiliblend is also another.
Please whats your advice on using them.

@life4all
It is called tinea versicolor. You need to get selenium sulfide 2.5% shampoo. Lather it on your skin and let it stay for 20 minutes. Repeat every day for seven days. It is a lifelong condition that improves with age as the skin becomes less oily. You have to perform "maintenance" by leaving the selenium solution on overnight at least once a month.
Helpee welcome

A weaker dilution is actually in selsun blue shampoo but I would check with a pharmacist. Yes, you do have to continue until your skin gets less oily. It improves with advancing age.

And what is the possible solution to stop it. Am worried. normal menses occurs over a period of 21 days to 35 days . in order words, even if your menses occur over a 3 week period there is nothing to worry about. try and document the interval over a 3 month period. once it falls within 21days to 35 days days then it is normal provided that it is regular and of normal volume, and colour.

Ifo is called eczema in english. medically, it is a form of dermatitis called pytiriasis vesicolor. depending on your age, it can be troublesome but usually manageable. wash the surface with warm water then apply cream that contain clortrimazole twice daily for at least 21days or more. it will usually disappear for some days but may reappear if you don't maintain the tempo. buy a cream or ointment that will not stain your skin such that you can even rob it to work without people knowing. don't expect magick. skin problems are very troublesome and eczema is no exception but with time, it will completely disappear

I need a recommendation that can smothen and remove the scar. what is the size of the blackhead? is it big and more importantly, is it growing bigger? if not, then there is no problem. start with 1% hydrocort cream, use it for 6 weeks then change to 2% and gradually increase the power if your skin is not reacting against it. don't be too aggressive in removing it as it may grow bigger. like i said, don't expect a one week miracle and be patient and persistent with your medication.

did the growth start spontaneously or was it induced by something like a previous scar? is it itchy and is it the same colour as the skin? what is the size? is it growing actively? you may need to start injecting TRIAMCINOLONE into the growth at intervals in addition to topical steroid application. it may just require a simple surgical excision too.meanwhile, let me know the answer to the above questions. but it is best to physically present to a doctor to properly determine what we are dealing with
