LIFE OF A CHRISTIAN AS EXPECTED BY GOD

As a Christian recognized by God, certain things will have to be in place other than going to church for fellowship. These things determine how God treats your case when a request is put up before Him. It does not mean that an unbeliever can not be successful in life but the question is whether his or her success is good or bad (Joshua 1:.

The first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. In John 3:3, 5 & 30 the bible tells us what we must do to inherit God’s kingdom. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus bacons on us to come and receive rest because that is the reason He came from above (John 10:10).

Having said all these, there are a lot of things that a real Christ must know and do.

1. HOW FAITH IN GOD WORKS
Faith will not work when unforgiving spirit exists. We as Christians must learn to forgive others so that our grudge(s) may not hinder us (Mark 11:21-26). 25. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. 26. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.
2. CLEANSING OFONE’S SELF.

We do have to cleanse ourselves daily because we may not know what we did or said that can contaminate us. 1 Peter 1:15 But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living. Read 2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 John 1:9

3. BEING IN HARMONY.

As Christians, the bible commands us to be in harmony at all times with others. But I urge and entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony and full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions or factions or divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions and judgments (1 Corinthians 1:10). Read Corinthians3:2-3; Ephesians 5:17-35.

4. AGREEING WITH OTHER BELEIVERS BRINGS CHRIST CLOSE TO YOU

It is very important for us to know the value that Christ has placed on agreeing and being of one mind. In the book of Matthew 18:18-20, He stressed on this matter

5. THE ANCHOR AND FOUNDATION OF FAITH
