I appreciate all the good works that have been done here by our TUTORS. My prayer is that as they have shared their knowledge, they also be met at the point of their need.

Please can someone in there explain to me HOW TO CREATE COLUMNS (how to space them and even insert words into them) in WEB DESIGNING.

Thank you as I await a response.

Lions Club sponsored Free Web Design Training
« #188 on: November 09, 2007, 06:37 PM »

Over the years i have build great appetite for web designing knowledge. But as my interest grew so did i fell victim to fake web design trainers. I know many would have aced d same fate as well.

Recently, i discussed with the leadership of a Lions Club in Ikeja who graciously agreed to support an empowerpoint training in Web Design. This training will be FREE OF CHARGE TO THE PUBLIC.

I am therefore inviting anyone who wish to be a part of the seminar. Send email to waymakerzconsult@gmail.com stating  personal details like Name, Email address, Phone number, Location in Lagos. We have space for just 50 participants, 20 of those will be Lions Club members (including Leos). So it is first come first served. Shortlisted participants will be sent invitation. Please note the seminar is free of charge

Tentatively the seminar is fixed for 10th December, 2007. Visit www.waymakerz.blogspot.com from timme to time to get more information.

Are there actually fake web designing trainers

Re: Designing A Website: For Beginners
« #190 on: November 12, 2007, 11:45 AM »

folahann,

better question: are there fake products in the average Nigerian open-air market?  Tongue

I won't go as far as calling these guys fake trainers but I will question their mode of teaching (no tables, no computers, students writing on pieces of paper as opposed to on a computer, etc) their techniques.  Check it out: http://www.maximuminsight.org/gallery.htm

I know, someone on here will say, "leave them alone, they are only trying to make a decent living".  Sure, but that isn't reason enough to take advantage of the fact that others,  in coming to them for training, are trying to make a decent living as well.  Then again, those guys charge N3,000.  I guess as they say, you get what you pay for.
