hi guys, I have decided to release the book that contain this my tutorial on web designing for beginner and the cost is one thousand naira (N1,000)   for more info. call ncpat on 08065942445 or okey on 08022703911 (computer village lagos)

I won't blame you, afterall you started some good job here and everybody was enjoying it untill some disgruntled elements came from no where to interrupt you.

Xanadu, deb, samo, astronp7, georgen2u, I-shine, dhtml, Achievers, Kenflipper and those of you who came to disrput this lesson are about the most stinking and disgusting persons I have come across here at nairaland. For God's sake, why don't you start you own thread? You claim to know what ncpat knows, but he's greater and knows much more than you all combined together. Keep off this thread if you have got nothing good to say.

Hi Y'All,

Its beautiful for me to find this topic being discussed. A couple of my friends and I have started an Initiative that is targeted at giving FREE Web Site Design/Development Training. Our initiative though is based on the Award-Winning Drupal Open Source CMS, which is a great Open Source tool for building web sites, especially community based sites.

It is my pleasure to invite you to join us at www.tdni.livingportals.com, while the Initiative is hosted at www.DrupalNigeria.Com. We will be glad to have you around. I will nonetheless, also be sending some of our lectures and resource tips to this board in the future.

In my subsequent posting I will outline the details of our Initiative and where are going from here.

Lets join hands together and make Nigeria great.

Cheers!

If you're looking for a great tool to use to build sites, I recommend drupal (www.drupal.org). Its an open source software you can use. www.nigeriaport.com was built using drupal and you can see the quality that it can produce.

You'll need to at least know how to use a web server, ftp, basic mysql, basic php, moderate html, to be able to use it, but if you can its well worth it.

What make a good website? What bring TRAFFICING!TRAFFICING!!TRAFFICING!!!to your website? It is unfortunate that a lot of people start their online business without considering whether there is a market for whatever they are starting.I have seen several website that were set up to fail right from the beginning. The best way to start any venture online is to is to discover if there are people hungry enough for whatever you want to set up.Every privates, tom and henry has the reason that take him to a given website. Hence ,more website are getting more and more traffic as the result of what they did , www.abkoshoes.blogspot.com

When designing a website, I think its important to focus your content and make it interesting as possible.  The design has to be straight forward with clear navigation.

Traffic is obviously the most important thing when it comes to websites.  If nobody is visiting, then whats the point?  I have found link exchange works the best.  The most difficult issue with link exchange is that you have to develop a minimum amount of traffic before many other webmasters will exchange a link.

Yet, don't be discouraged, persistence does pay off  Wink

Great tutorial on html. however i dont design my website using html anymore. I do it using templates and i have been having nice result. Html is almost dead thing now. I dont know what you think about this.

Apart from using templates. Now a days i prefer putting up my websites using the wordpress software. i have great dynamic website that i can update at any point in time. Thisw is good for internet marketing.
