bluevoda is quite easy to use. In fact I like it a lot after dreamweaver. add sydneycollins3 to your yahoo list and we can  talk better. just indicate who u are.
the only problem with bluevoda is its creates the html files in such a way that u have to host with them (with .bvp extension). but this can be bypassed though with a little extra effort.

The guy has given a taste so all you have to do is research and learn. Its not easy to program in HTML i must say because it takes a lot of time to write is down and run it and any mistake will give you headache. If you want know how HTML.Kindly do this; Right click on any website front page on the drop down menu look for VIEW SOURCE and click it.It will open in notepad. The codes u get are in HTML.If i where u i will save it,read it wella and reconstruct it.ttyl

Hey dude, Notepad doesn't create HTML documents. It only opens and edits them. Prove me wrong! www.kemjisuper.faithweb.com

i felt id add some hints/tuts

LINKING PAGES

the idea of the web is about different files being linked together
hyperlinks are used to connect webpages together

the syntax is <a href = "pagename.html">text2appear</a>

with this u can link allyour pages together by placing links on all pages

as in images, the src "pagename.html" should be in same folder or if not
the directories shld b included eg "C:/segun/seunosewa/pagename.html"

what of if we place a image or file instead of webpage
Huh?

for images,it displays it in a new page  and for files it downloads it to your computers
at least u have an idea of how downloads are made

this should suffice4now,  the next one would b linkin within a document

w3schools is stressful xcept u're browsing from home

Notepad is more or less like a compiler ok

Re: Designing A Website: For Beginners
« #126 on: April 17, 2007, 10:21 AM »

akinwunmi,

I don't agree with your assertion.  Perhaps I am missing something and you can educate us all about how Notepad could be more or less "a compiler".

Notepad is a text editor.  You open it, type in stuff and/or make editions, and close it.  It doesn't convert what you type into byte/assembly code that could then be run as a program.  If you call NotePad more or less "a compiler", then you might as well call dreamweaver, homesite, intelliJ and Eclipse compilers as well.

I hope this helps.
