Nsofor must be crazy, could have been 5-1 now
In his defence, he played it with his weaker foot.

Akpala should be banned from Nigerian teams for what he said about the DT4 during the olympics.

He went on Belgian TV to say that most members of the olympic team are not under 23, he also said Nigerian players are known for lying about their age.

LMAO @ COMMENTATORS! "Yobo has 60 caps for Nigeria and 5 goals" The commentator counting Yobo's 'home' goal in this game. I suppose he meant own goal.

Ypbo is kinda losing it. He used to be top notch. I hope this is just a temporary dip in form and not something permanent.

Even in Everton, he has been having some below par performances and was dropped in their last match . Sad

5 goals? This goal-shy Eagles? When last did Eagles score 3 goals in a match? Ok, they beat Zimbabwe and Algeria 5-2 and 5-1 respectively in 2005, when the WC hope had already been dashed.
In the last three years I can't recall  a match Eagles score 3 goals, not to talk of 5 goals. It's been 1-0, 2-1,1-1,2-0 even against Equitorial Guinea, Niger, Benin, Lesotho etc. Yet we parade the 2nd most star-studded attack in Africa(after CIV).CIV's attack recorded more than 15 goals enroute ANC 2008, spanking opponents 5-0, 3-0 etc. Too bad.
When will Nigeria return to attacking football please?

Hmmmnnn, Nigeria-S/Leone? Another unconvincing 2-0 win.
This was ifecos response to the post below not mine

good result. yobo is getting too rusty. and he concedes own goals nowadays as if its a normal thing. he should sit up cuz adeleye and nwaneri are waiting in the ranks.

someone said something about odiah being the new jay jay and playing midfield for the eagles. is that a plausible idea or just plain ridiculous.Huh?
