all,
pls let's discuss the panorama booster fta on the google group here too.I want us to experiment in the Lagos area as someone confirmed it worked in Ibadan.I am excited about it.Butoneday should pls give us details of how it works including pix of the whole set-up.I wouldnt mind to have it in my Lagos home as I dont have any satellite set-up here except the redundant Discomm cable which stopped working some months ago when they went digital.

olofofo,
dont mind Engineer Ashawo. The dish was not motorised when I visited the estate some days ago.I dont know if it is MFP.I will find out next Tuesday.Or better still call my friend.I will text her number to u.As my new in-law,tell him to steer clear of my territory. When I am I meeting the salts of the earth/ododo-flowers at your backyard?

ola,
you no even get liver.u dey fear madam over Oshodi salesgirl issue. Please tell Enitan to call me.I cant get him on fone.Has he been kidnapped?

@ All,
Can someone tell me where to get an industrial jack? My 6m fibre dish is very heavy and I think size 36 jack (which I currently have) will not be able to move the dish because of it's weight. I would like to be moving the dish from 7.0*W to 25.0*E
This is a 6m pan dish motorized with the normal heavy duty jack.

@ Tox,
I think all the information required for configuring the panorama set-up have been provided. Just add all the info on this thread to what we have in the google group, you are done. I am presently not in a position to post photos of my set-up because i am away from home. However, I will give you a call to clarify any step in the procedure. The guys in Ibadan who have successfully installed theirs could also be of help.
@ Pito
Thanks for your 6.0m pan dish photo. I find it difficult to identify the jack in the pic. However, my main concern is the weight of the dish. My dish is so heavy that you need at least two persons to move it when tracking. I do not know how much load this heavy duty jack can move. I will give it a try when I get home. But I will make sure that the jack is connected from the pivot on the support pole to a point very close to the skirt of the dish for a better mechanical advantage. I will give you a call later today as you introduce the starsat receiver in PH.

@ pitodenz

That dish was actually the fixed type and not motorized as u speculated. The whole the picture just emerge after some while and i can see it clearly now. That set up get as he be but ko bad sha.

@ BUTONEDAY,
Even if that your dish na 12m,2 x 24inches light duty can pwr it. All u need is a qualified welder to construct a double actuating sitting clamp for the jack.
