Help With Google Adsense Configuration

I stand corrected but I think that as far as the regular ads go, google goes by what the content on your pages. So if it sees a lot of say, "Nigeria", it will know to serve up ads that pertain to Nigeria.  In other words, you can't have  a site that deals with "how to make $1million" without being country-specific, to show up ads that pertain to Nigeria.  Also bear in mind that there might not be that many Nigerian companies that can afford to advertise via google.

For the google search boxes though, I believe you can specify what keywords you want google to flag as good or bad.

Again, I think that is how it works but I stand corrected if not.

What is the site's url?  I still maintain that you aren't doing your SEO right.  I for instance, have sites that I work on, show relevant ads, a few days after I register the site with google adsense.  Another possible problem:

Depending on when you added the adsense stuff, google hasn't spidered your site yet.  I always register my sites with google webmaster for quicker spidering

2) Words on your site are too generic (words that companies placing ads are probably not using or have no money to pay google to flag

Again, I would look at the words you have on your site.  You can also do a quick check to see what keywords your competition is using.

Why would you want to show only Nigerian ads. I suppose the real reason for your signing up with adsense is to make money. Those ads you now have may be earning you more before Google fully understands your page.

I think google will configurate on its own to show only ads from Nigeria, because google ads are geo targeted.

Why do you want google to display on naija ads on your site afterall your adsense id is meant to give you traffic and also generate income for you but if you are not satisfied then go use your adsense id on some site so as to generate more income and also traffic to your site.
