I dont know how to teach u from the computer, but I Tie well. Some people use pin, to hold it stable. I think it's better to tie it strong and then use a pin at the finish end.

Even if you could describe how to do so in words (difficult enough), there's nothing like seeing someone else do it.

Aloib, natives have really gone a new dimension, you can sew all sorts of styles, and men I hope one day one day I can tie gele. @ Justin, for real that guy is good, I have seen him live in action in naija and yankee and he is good, maybe I need to contact him to do an how to video. I wish some one would do that, it would help those of us with two left hands when it comes to tying gele. Nike4luv I beg its not that easy oooo, To anyone who can describe how to tie gele, please go ahead I am willing to try, this weekend was so funny, I took one gele and was just trying , I was just laughing at my self, one day one day I will get there |

Tying gele is easy for real. actually maybe i'll tie one and post a picture. Anyways, i really don't know how to explain tying gele. Once your gele is Hard, it'll stay as it should. All those aso-oke gele and soft type gele are harder than the karakaka gele's. Just make it look like a dish on your head. better yet, tie it on somebody's head and place it on urs. When i started tying gele i was probably 11. As in Aso oke type. (u know when everyone wore "oleku".). Aso oke short wrapper and White buba and aso-oke Headtie. I did it without standing in front of the mirror. For some reason it looked good. And since then, i just play with it. Now i even tie for old women. But i tie it on my head and place it on theirs. Probably do some adjustment on their head, considering how big or small it is. lol better yet, use a bowl. Tie it on a bowl. I used to tie it on The "big custard bucket" Thingy. U know that yellow custard bucket? Yeah that one. |

EPE MI EPE MI . lol. mehn bt tien gele is easy. it is sumthn every naija babve shd be able 2 do especially yoruba babes u.  . i dnt use pin or staple. i just tie the knot well. |

I know could tie gele very very well . Its not all that hard though but i know its hard for some people. I love 2 tie it and when i do ppl b like who tied it for you i be like me who else and its cause i tie it soo good and tight. *I tie it to the point when ppl c u it can cause traffic jams seriously!!! |
