Slurp, I like beans! Lima beans, butter beans, black-eyed peas, kidney beans, pinto beans, even green beans and peas, it pretty much doesn't matter what kind of bean it is. I like 'em.  Beans are a staple food down here in the deep South too, for the "less affluent". At least it was when I was growing up back in the day. Cheap, don't rot, dry storage and a little cooks up to be a lot. It might be a "perfect food", hehe.
