u need to c what was there b4.  Perhaps after seeing it, you would have given this new one 3 out of 10 

very very very poor considering it was done by a web developer. This site would have  been done by a primary school student studying IT. Please review other web development company sites and see whats on offer

For someone willing to train other on web development I believe you should have a decent and effective website, not necessarily flashy but simple and useful.

Take a look at any website you like ans see if you can come up with something similar, that way you will uncover a lot of tricks and skills while trying to develop the site.

Practice, practice, practice. Good luck.

Couldn't you, assuming you don't have a digital camera to take photos of the actual location, at the very least get photos featuring black fishermen (excluding the one to the right)?

There's a huge difference between a web developer and an interface/web designer.
If you are not too good with the visuals side of things, contract that side out.
'Cos really, let's face it, your application might be able to save the world, but if it's
not visually appealling, fuggid bourrit!

I'm so sorry to say this, your own designs are worse than his. Heck!

Everytime you visit a website that you like, view the Page Source.
See how the code is structured, view linked css files and compare them with what
you have done in the past.

Now your website review according to MOA:

Your website will pass for an aplus if it was presented in the 90s where you have to write your HTML codes manually but to be presented in the 21st century as a website development firm's official website is higly unacceptable.

First:

you fail to add your company logo to your website, and your header reads:  Switchmax Web Design and Develoment I think the develoment should have a P ,  if u use dreamweaver, its best you run spell checking on your website content.

secondly: Your content placement is very poor, you home page should be your about us while your about us should be the intro text for your about us page with a "read more" button or something.

thirdly:

On your contact us page: this line has got a missing txt: You can contact us "with the form" below for information on our services and Training below.

I would rather have it this way: please use the form below to contact us on our services and training , 

and since you train people on CSS, you should use some of those knowledge on your site before you transfer everything to your students.

Your service page: You may need a content development expert eye on that because the content is clumsy and lousy.

On what is suppose to be your second paragraph, you have:

There are a lot more things wrong with this site and it beyond the design, your choice of words, content placement and a lot more are just not what you do in the 21st century. I sincerely hope you do not take offense, this is my job to help organization communicate there brand effectively using the internet and it will be my pleasure to help revamp your website.

You will need to do more than this to claim the title you bear (big star), http://www.orisfish.com/ ,  its like only the homepage work, even if you are doing this for free, you should do better because beyond the website owner trying to communicate her brand, you are also communication your brand and you should put in you BEST at all time because you don't know which if your jobs will win you the BIG contracts ,  so stop working for fun, every JOB counts.

Ehm @yawa - i havent seen the former version of the site - i don't wish to make any comment - i am a coder not a designer - but i think this site i am looking at here is too plain to be a web designer's job don't u think? it seem to be more boring than my site considering i am not an interface developer - and i did not outsource any aspect of my site.

That meant he adheres to correction - my old site when i first came to NL was by far worse than what this guy just did - so i guess he is improving - he will get there eventually as long as he keeps trying.

It is refreshing to know that some people take unreasonably undiplomatic, slash-you-neck criticism in a mature way.

1: I like the fact that the site is easy on the eyes,  Question? have you decided the type of clients you wish to target? most i suspect are of the high-action type who want to see vibrance, color, splash and lights with some level of maturity. the color scheme though tame might not suit your purpose. pick some web-safe colors that show some vibrancy
2: I also like the fact that you have organized your navigation and placed it prominently on the right-side of the screen-estate. i feel there the buttons need to stand out from the background rather than blend in. and there is some cloud effect in there or is it steam
3: While you have used white space b/w content and other structural elements properly (sort of) you have ignored alignment of text and form elements so that they align rightly or leftly as you want it (proper alignment of forms and text make the site look cooler and mature than what you have done)
