I love beads they are so pretty and you have better advatge with them than Gold or silver jewllery which you have to clean often to stop from fading. I loved three and four.

I like the black and turquoise one, u ddnt label it michy so i don't can tell what image that is, i like beads, wear them around my waist and ankles(those are the ones i don't take off, unless 2 change the color) wear on my wrist and neck sometimes when am not lazy 2 dress fully lol.

yes people still wear them round the waist, its an old custom common in all Nigerian tribes and some other parts of Africa they are basically used by maidens who are yet to marry and are still virgins, waist beads also have various uses in part of Nigeria and Africa in general waist beads was very popular in the early 70s and 80s in the Yoruba Ariya scene it had various names like ileke idi ,wewe, sowambe etc. And i guess its still popular today. its believed that a woman with waist beads was able to roll her hips very well and that men get turned on easily when they see a womans booty with waist beads * how far this is true i have no idea* |

i don't know if you have African markets in your area like we do in NY u could find some in there,or if u still have family back home send for some . thats the best i can think of for now happy hunting |

Another point of view is that a woman with beads around her waist is believed 2 b a virgin and that if the beads cut then she has been doing the nasty lol but of course thats old wives tale because she can still bounce up n down and the freaking beads will still be there lol
