R u sure the results r out?cuz when i check at www.sate.gov it says results not yet out

      yeah, there are a great many scam e-mails out there, but of course the kentucky consular center does not contact winners by email , so if ones notification is by email, he should know its a scam, and about the results being out, check again, its been out for months.

Are you sure of what you are posting? 2007 dv lottery was played in 2005 (two years interval). If incase you are talking about 2009 dv lottery that was played last year(2007), then you should refer to the dvlottery as 2009 result. The people that applied for dv lottery for that 2007 (played in 2005) they must have all being treated in 2006/2007. The 2009 dv lottery that was played in 2007 will release result between March-May 2008. Maybe you are refering to dv2009. Anyway, whichever you are refering to, i have answered you question.

2008 USA Diversity Visa (DV) lottery registeration period on October 3 to December 2, 2006 WAS OVER.

2009 USA DV lottery registeration period on October 3 to December 2, 2007 WAS OVER.

You have TO WAIT FOR 2010 USA DV lottery registeration period will start on October 3 to December 2, 2008.

The 2009 dv lottery that was played in 2007 will release result between March-May 2008. Winners will be selected by computer random draw and will be notified by postal mail. Winners will not be informed by email or by any other means other than postal mail. The mail will contain winning notification and further instructions.

dude, try n read stuff properly before making comments. as u can see, this thread was posted in 2006 (about 2 years ago) . and not a single statement was ill informed or anything. i've been in da US for a long time n  only changed status after winning in '06. by da way i dint ask any question, so i wonder what u claim to have answered.

DV 2007 is far gone 'cos it was applied for in 2005 while dv2009 is the one on now and was done last year. The results are out and i got my letter from KCC 28th of april 2008, which i've filled and sent back to Kentucky. Good luck to the rest waiting.
