that is a fake picture it has being modified to include the message below, RAND corporation was into the space, health, computing business and a whole other stuff.

its a fake, if you are familiar with fark.com i have seen that picture there once.

back in 1954, i doubt if people thought of computers as 'home' items.it was in the 1970s that the then head of IBM said ' there is a world market for maybe five personal computers'.cactus is right.its a spoof. i doubt if they had concived keyboards/printers like that in 1954.
