Microsoft Shows Off Windows 7!
« on: October 29, 2008, 05:53 PM »

Microsoft yesterday showed off a pre-beta build of Windows 7, their next OS. Click on the following links for more info

Initial impressions have been overwhelmingly impressive, with the company even showing off a build optimized to run on 1Ghz netbooks. The OS itself has been engineered to support Multitouch.

Pretty exciting news, this.

Microsoft always develops good user friendly products but at the end of the day, they always shoot themselves in the leg. Before you know it, you will be told to upgrade your CPU, RAM, Hard Disk, Graphics Card etc. That's apart from the numerous driver incompatiblity issues that would accompany all your peripherals like printer, scanner, digital camera etc. Pretty soon after the "BIG"launch you will start seeing Microsoft customers complaining (anybody remembering vista). Before you know it, the almighty Service Pack 1 for Microsoft 7 don land. Do they ever learn ?  Huh Huh Huh I hope they sincerely try to fix all these aforementioned problems before hyping it up and rushing it out to consumers. They are giving more ammo to Linux and Mac user's in the OS wars. Thats why the Mac vs PC ads by Apple are so popular. People can relate to the mentioned Microsoft Vista problems.
