How come there's nothing on their website to describe precisely what they are up to?
I googled MTN Treasure hunt and nothing on it came up. What precisely are they up to, do u just keep sending Sms to 77777? Don't get these guys.

I was just about to post this topic. Nothing spells of flat out robbery than this lame tactic MTN's trying to pull. its not their fault, they have identified hungry nigerians as potent targets and as foolish as we can be, we fall, and continue to send ths N100 texts.

Everyone's desperate for quick routes to gearing up for Etisalat's inevitable take-over.
And whats most nauseating, is how these texts keep coming and coming and coming, almost on an hourly basis, almost with a warning tone signalling what we stand to loose if we don't text out our monies NOW!!

F.u.c.k.ng bigots, people, lets keep this thread running, enough of this sick gimmicks.

My sister nauseating is an understatement. It's so terribly annoying. The worst mistake is sending an sms to 77777 in the first place. Don't ever send or else they'll turn your life into a nightmare with their never ending per minute sms even if you willing, able and ready to send 77777 number of sms in other to win

They are cheatters. I used N1100 to play the game 3 days ago only to regret my actions. Their enticing per minute sms is a death trap. Please, dont be fooled. Be wise.

It's only greedy Nigerians that would participate and later complain of being cheated. Nobody put a gun into somebody's head to send the text abi?

But i dont understand,
isnt that fraud that the govt should do something about,
i'm still undecided about if its fake or real,
What i'm decided about is not to send even one forking sms,  whether to 777 or 666

Although the treasure hunt is a real thing not fake but, it cannot be said to be a promo altogether. How can an organisation tell you that they are rewarding you when actually they will never spend a dine from their coffers? I think NCC should put a stop to this ugly promo from MTN.

To tell u guys the truth i once fell for the hunt shit,
I lost over 1000plus
their txt is very enticing 2gther with the points they give. Dat particular day , i thot i was a sure winner. Only to find out the next day dat i'm still to continue playing.  I think they r only trying to recover the money lost during the rcard scam.
