Ladies And Wigs: Are Wigs Sexy?

What Exactly Is It With Ladies And Wigs? Anything Sexy About It?

How many of you guys(Ladies and gentlemen) share my view on this?

This is my opinion: I see ladies that go on wigs as artificial, it tells me they are covering their naturalness in a way.  I find it hard coping with artificial nature of people.  Can't ladies at least portray their true self?  Remember, this is my opinion and I am entitled to it!

You may however tell me why ladies go with wigs.  Some would never go with their natural hair, or is their a possibility of baldedness in the female folks?

Guys on wigs, you don't need me to tell you of your fakeness!  Write your replies.

The thing that is 'exactly with ladies and wigs', is that they get tired of just styling their hair, have bad hair days, want to try a different look, or just want to cover their baldness. yes some ladies are bald.

Hello, i wear wig. . . Kill me.

Personally, i wear wig because some days i just sit down and look at my hair and want to start crying. Of course i love my original/natural hair. But with the wig, there's this new confidence that Ohh hell yeah i look hella fine today.

Now here's the deal. I don't wear stupid fake wigs. When i wear wigs, i'll have to tell u that they are wigs. (listen carefully, wigs are different from weaves).

My wigs are good type of wigs and i make sure they are my hair color. Not the type that is Brown and my hair is black, and everything is clashing. it's all about knowing what works for you. I wont wear a pink wig, or a wig that looks ugly with my face.

Sometimes i wear wig because I just want to try something new, or just look different. hell WIgs are good damnit.

But yeah going with your real hair is good too, if it looks good.

And Yeah, There's something sexy about wigs. No i take that back. There's something sexy if a girl wears a wig that compliments her.  Smiley

If u wear a wig that's not the size of your head. As in smaller. Then it'll squeeze your head and give u bad headaches.  Cheesy

Ohh Nike i hear you.

@ topic, actually i think im wearing a wig to the banquet im going tonight.

Reason:
1. My hair is short, and im wearing a dress. I need a hair that's packed up and has bangs so that my necklace and earrings will show.
2. My hair is actually messed the fuuck up. A wig would do me justice tnite.

the impression i get from cooldave's post is that he's referring to all hair stuff like weaves, hair extensions, wigs, toupees, "hair attachment", etc as "wigs". am i right, cooldave?

anyway, most of my girls on here have answered your question. another reason is you may need to look "politically correct" sometimes. for instance, i'm thinking of growing dreadlocks at the moment, but i know many people may not like it, some people maybe even find it repulsive Cheesy so i plan on having a wig handy, in case of job interviews and all that.

but the real reason we wear wigs i guess, is that WIGS ARE THE SEXIEST THINGS AFTER G.STRINGS! Grin

@carmelily, well,my intro reflects my opinion about wigs.I simply feel its ,u know it already.
@all,thanks for your lectures and elaborate contributions, maybe I'll need to doze off often beside some ladies maybe they'll try their wigs on me, laughs
I think everyone has the right to wear whatever he/she likes, but caution shouldnt be thrown into the winds--imagine pink wigs, brown,so many colours and well, its not fashion-its bullshit--well,thanks for the responces,I need more objective ones though.
@Carmelly,do u truly think u are more sexy than my lady?

Personally, i can't stand wigs, they don't look natural you can tell a person is wearing one from miles away. They also damage your real hair and scalp underneath all that heat, at least with  weaves you can still get some air to your scalp.

I think one of the reasons is that they want to look different.

Another reason is that they don't have the time or money to take care of their hair as needed.

Final reason is they just don't like their hair.

i didnt mean your entire intro, i meant the "end of discussion" thing. why put a post up if it's already "end of discussion"? and if u want objectivity, u don't take a standpoint and expect everyone to agree.

and ooooooooooh yeah! i wasn't talking bout your lady, baby and i don't know bout sexy Grin. i'm talking bout H*O*T!! Wink
it was a question by the way, not a statement! Grin

please shut the fuk up bout that because some women don't have hair and they have to wear it. Like people who have hair loss or think about it loss their hair through cancer?

so think bout it before u post something retarded up here.

Yeah there are women who don't have hair not even because of Chemo but its just a defect the have from birth, how them go do now? You knw say it takes a really confident woman 2 waka about with no hair and frankly not everyone has that confidence.

wig is different from quick weave and weave.

Wig is ugly. Quick weave is sexy.

Weave is what those nigerian actresses wear in movies and u can see that it's a cap filled with hair. Quick weave (if u buy your hair color) looks good n is hella sexy (if u buy the right one).

I wanted to straighten that out. When i said wig earlier, i was reffering to quick weave.

Absolutely nothing sexy about wigs, yuck. It is so uncool, not classy at all and women in Nigeria  are fond of wearing the most audacious and repulsive wigs(actress Eucharia springs to  mind), ooohhhhh shudder Shocked

If you ain't got Alopecia i don't see a reason for it.
