Exactly. Evolution is hogwash, as currently taught. The above mutations talked about in this post, is how the evolution of hair types, skin colors, etc, really came about and came about really quickly.

In fact this scientific theory of whites being descended from African Albinos, is the only scientific creation theory that agrees with the bible and makes the evolutionist argument of the skin color taking millions of years useless.
We've been over all this ground. Science transcends the Bible. Humans are far to vast and varied group to be categorised into races. All scientists agree on this. Racial classification is a primitive way of looking at humanity. |

Scientists say they are innocent of anything we do badly -- like invent racial categories in the 19th century. But anything we do correctly -- like invent computers, we should be credited with creating the greatest things on earth.
Trying to dismiss what they did to the human race by inventing race, and ignoring the "walking around reality" they created, just ain't going to work.

Drusilla, Nuclear weapons and computers exist external to us and hence do not depend upon our beliefs or opinions for their operation. Do you have to pray to your computer to make it work? Of course not. Race depends entirely upon our beliefs and opinions and hence has no reality external to our thoughts. This is how science demonstrated that despite the everyday beliefs of humans that the sun appears to go around the Earth the truth is vice versa. Many times human beliefs are misconceived but fortunately we have the gift of science to sort this problem out. 'Race' is an anachronism. Of course we can discuss social and economic responsibility in the world and history but trying to extend the false science of 'race' is like going back to eating raw meat instead of cooking it. |

If that police officer isn't taught it - he doesn't see it. Like if I am taught there are only trees, not distinct species of trees, I won't see them either. So what do you suggest? We remove all children from their homes and exposure to the racist teachings of their parents and raise them in labortories?
Otherwise you would have to explain to each student what race was and teach them about it first before you could teach them against the negativity associated with race.
Maybe we shouldn't have history classes.
And maybe blacks shouldn't keep counting all that happens to them as blacks, just pretend they do not know the connection between them and their mistreatement and those who look like them.

I was being intentionally disengenous.
I know that science gave us nuclear weapons, chemical weapons, biological weapons, smart bombs, flipper babies, more people dyingt in the hospital from things they catch in the hospital than what they came there for, land minds, weapons of war, processed foods that make us sicker, the overuse of medicine, the destruction of the environment for scientific development, social darwinism, etc, etc.
Ipods (the best science has to offer) just don't make up for the bad of science for me.

I am not a scientist. I just play one on message boards.
As said by a scientist: You can not claim the credit for the good outcomes of science but distance yourself from the bad ones under some fake idea that science has a right to exist, even against the people's will.
People have been known to imprison scientists and worse in the past and it may come back in the future. So scientist are remiss, if they think ignoring the consequences of what their science does, is a good idea.

Drusilla, History classes are exactly where discussions on race belong. But when you have achieved a higher level of consciousness (i.e. holism) why even bother with history lessons? If you can accept that nature exists in a state of totality, pure and free of human connivance, which it must since it was here long long before we were, then you can accept the futility of trying to label it: "A cosmic being must be whole - a cosmic self cannot objectify the universe.
