Why Do You Lie Sometimes?
« on: July 30, 2006, 05:43 PM »

A young businessman had just started his own firm. He had just rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques.
He saw a man come into the outer office. Wishing to appear the hot shot, the businessman picked up the phone and started to pretend he had a big deal working. He threw huge figures around and made giant commitments.

Finally he hung up and asked the visitor, ''Can I help you?''

''Yeah, I've come to activate your phone lines.''

i will ask the man to find out why the phone works sometimes without activation. i will complain immediately of the off and on attitude of the phone line.
on the issue of lies, like the gentle man it was mearnt to promote his business.
for me sometimes to make the other party(parties) happy.
in the case of ladies to make them hear what they like hearing.

i lie to protect myself and it depends on the issue,if it is in my relatinship,i try to be fair and it depends also on the guy too,if he can understand why i did what i did.lying is not good, cos if the person find out,he/she may not trust you again.it then means before u lie check urself.
