Can we run a live commentary here:
Latest news is that no gathering is allowed within 3km radius of the judgment venue. If you live in Benin please let's have a feel of the atmosphere.

@Truequest Thanks for initiating the above discussion. Lets hope the pain and suffering the PDP continuously inflicted on us ends with this verdict. These buffoons who are allergic to truth may resort to violence but lets wait.

The funny side of our polity is that after Barack Obama's victory every body went to the press hailing the Election as though they will allow similar scenario here even when it is obvious that their candidate is the unpopular one.

As at press time, Action Congress supporters, have sown khakis and printed t-shirts for celebration, Governor Osunbor and his Deputy Lucky Imasuen have vacated Government House, But ironically the police presence in Benin right now makes one think that "they" want to give the judgment in favour of the "unpopular candidate" The atmosphere is visibly tensed, this is a defining moment in the life of Edo State; GOD HELP US. . . .Hmmmmmmm

The latest on this issue is that the IG has proclaimed a wall of Jericho unpon Edo State, no going out no coming in (News in ait this morning). Forced no movement notice proclaimed by State Government yesterday between 7am and 4pm today. What an irony, elections were held in America, people were rejoicing, in Nigeria, we are held at ransom by people who are supposed to Govern us and provide hope for its citizenry. Na wao. God help us ooooo

Latest news also indicate that a public holiday has been declared today. So no going to work or School. I don't want to be preemptive but it sends a scary signal. God help us.

I dont see the reason why people should be held to ransom just becos a judgement is to be pronounced. It doesnt make sense, instead it makes me feel that something is going to go wrong, but i hope that the truth should be said.

Truequest, can you imagine what Edo State would lose today with respect to Business, Education, commerce. All banks are closed in Benin, what a live these ediots have confined us to? All of them are Educated illiterates, who needs to be taught the act of governance.

Tundetire, we can only imagine, it is all about desperation. nothing else matters to them than their interest. @Baro Whatever is keeping Osunbor out of court must be serious or do they have intelligent report? We are waiting for the judges to drop the gavel

As it is right now, the best Osunbor can get is nullification, but that would still be a sudden twist considering the rulings so far.
