It really matters. When you see the list of programs Osunbor gave as his develpmental guide you will come to understand the difference between a professor and a SSCE holder.
In America everyone knew Obama will be better because of his manifesto and programmes, it is a pity however here in nigeria that illitrates are given the chance to vote so no one borders to check what these guys have upstairs

i guess we can safely say oshiomole is the first person to reap the benefit of barrack obama's "change we need" at this point in time let us hope and pray he follows in the footsteps of notable leaders by doing what other governors have never done before and showing the younger generations there is a hope for nigeria still because frankly speaking so many millions went against the norm and invested a great deal of hope and expectation on oshiomole, he didint spend hundreds of millions like other governorship aspirants but traded on his immense goodwill being a labou leader so now is payback time

I really would appreciate it, if Adams Oshiomole could read all our comments here to let him understand that he must not fail us. We love him be cause we know he has great ability to deliver. However, if he allows the politics of bitterness, godfatherism catch up with him he will fail and we shall still boot him out of Government. I hope he chooses to put his feet in the sand of history to do the right things.
Can we all answer this question? Do men learn from History? Oshiomole should please learn from history and bring development to the great people of Edo State. Amen

the truth about us is that we are born in rigging position so any election that goes against us must pass through the court rooms.

There are two different issues here.This is not about who will be a good leader (governor) between Oshinomole and Osunbor, far from that.The issue is, who won the last gubernatorial election in Edo state? And evidences on ground have shown that Adams Oshinomole won by majority votes, which has been confirmed by both election tribunal and court of Appeal. Whether he Oshinomole will be a better governor is a debate for another forum. And to those who are equating education to good leadership, what point are you driving home? Are you saying if I do not have a university degree, I could not perform better than someone who claims to have conducted a freer and fairer election to the one that brought in FIRST BLACK US PRESIDENT?. I can only wish Adams and his team all he best.

I do hope for the sake of the residents of Edo that he performs. However, i know & fear that we are about to witness a government that'll be run on propaganda and other noise making techniques. Do not forget this dude has 'claimed' to be in the opposition/underdog situation for the past few years as a labor leader. This experience will enable him to better bamboozle the ppl of Edo with well constructed misinformation. Expect to hear such Peter Obi type excuses like, 'The PDP machinery is making it impossible for me to deliver. Mind u this dude has been in bed with the PDP in a trail that leads to Aso Rock and Otta. Expect enough rallies filled with low income types and enough rhetoric. It is a big Insult to liken this dude to Barack Obama cos apart from the Rhetoric (which Oshiomole's labour activist part makes him an expert) there is no similarity between these two men. Expect a government like Ikedi Ohakims in Imo state that'll be run on the pages of Newspapers (where fortunately, he has enough sympathizers) Anyways it might just be the undying cynic in me running amok on the keyboard. i come against that in the name of Jesus. I reverse that arrow by the name that is greater than all name, that name of Jesus. Are you blind. I just posted picture of Edo state, and river state, cant you tell. stanech , If I look at it, IF I mean IF ethnics politics was use in Edo state. Oshiomole would never win. The benin people and the ishan people speak nearly close to the say languages. while Oshiomole is from auchi area, A small place just outside of Auchi. So ethnics politicswise, it was difficult to win. But he was labour leader. So that I do not know if that was a factor for people to vote for him. |
