I saw a comparison between Beckham and Mihajlovic - on what basis? Hype or what? The kind of freekick he scored against Greece? what about Ronaldinho's against England? I remeber even @ 35, Mihajlovic was brought in as a substitute and he scored 2 to equalise for Inter (freekicks of course). No doubt, he is the best free kick taker ever in history (Roberto Rivelino, i didnt see him play). (check out his stats on PS games if you doubt). a player who scores 12 freekicks in a season is a legend (Juninho has 29 goals from dead balls since joining Lyon) Beckham bends the ball quite alright, I should say even better than anyone else does, but freekick precision is not only about curves jare. When I think freekicks, i think of: Mihajlovic, Rivaldo, Carlos, Piero, Pirlo, Henry, Juninho, Ronaldinho, Beckham, Recoba, Totti, and Van Hooijdonk. Beckham will stroll with ease into any national team with his astounding natural ability.
U need to go take a look at the goals Beckham has scored in his career.
Who can forget the spectacular goal he scored against Wimbledon in 1996.
Beckham saw the goalie standing a long way out of his goal and he took a shot from the halfway line that floated over the goalkeeper and into the net.

David Beckham is the bomb.
I do not benefit jack from the Beckhams but i appreciate his amazing skills with the ball.
Only few players can match him in ball delivery and inch-perfect crosses.

Beckham is one of the best free-kick taker in the world.
One of the few players in the world cup history to score twice from different free-kicks in different World Cup editions.
Ronaldinho, Zidane and Figo are yet to acheive this feat.
Hate him or Love him, Beckham is a legend.

there a public figure, and i feel it has got him distracted, he has his face on more magazines than anyother footballer, not because he is good, but because of endorsements and of course his wife,
