Are you a Nigerian? Because every person who comes from 'Gidi' must to know wetin 'ghana must go bag' means, for real. Grin

Anyway, if you don't know that was the bag used by most Ghanian immigrants to pack their belongings when the Nigerian government declared that every Ghana national in Nigeria must leave the country. This was in the early 1980's I believe.
Most class conscious Nigerian will not be found using it to carry personal belongings (except maybe shopping) as its somewhat associated with poverty.

Is it only associated with poverty, Danfo? Isn't it greatly linked to looting here in Nigeria? As far as I know, there's no other bag being used by your friends here in Nigeria in the movement of cash from one office to their homes like this one.

Hell yes. I felt the same way about it.

It was a pathetic image, and yet because someone had said American 'Ghana Must Go', I smiled at it. But thing is, if we hadn't known about the events that led to that shot, it would have been a lot funnier.

Emmm....to that, I think he's black, and if he's actually, then he would be the Ghananian that Wesley thought the lady was. Besides, he's carrying just one, and she's hauling how many, six?

It would have been hiliriosly funny if it wasnt so ironical. i know its a bit off the topic but the Ghana dt we said must go have a better economy than us. at least i know for sure that last year Ghana celebrated 3 years of non stop electrical supply in their country. its unfortunate that the reverse is d case as Ne[pa is living up 2 their name " Never expect power always"
