Nigerians like the US a lot but Australia is also a very nice place and it is A LOOOOT  less crime than in the US and it´s  very clean and developped!!

I would like to present a few pictures of lesser known cities in Australia, namely Brisbane and Perth

Perth

City of Brisbane

Australia´s beautiful and famous Gold Coast

Can I ask why? Australia is one of the safest, most modern  and cleanest countries on earth (apart from the awful snakes, of course)

@ Poster

Some  of the  reasons why Nigerians do not consider going to Australia:

1. The Extremely complicated Visa process.
2. Cost of going back to Nigeria as opposed to the UK/US.
3. The percieved racism in Australia.
4. The value of the Aussie dollar.

I know this may sound a bit ignorant, but from the many articles I've read, along with the experiences people of color have been through in Australia, it gives me the notion that racism is prevalent in Australian society. The government seems like they support open discrimination when it comes to immigration (refugees to be exact), when they blatantly discriminated against African refugees awaiting relocation, because of a few bad apples in Brisbane. They decided to decrease the number of African refugees from 70% to 30%, favoring Asian and European refugees no longer in conflict zones.

To sum it up bluntly, I don't really like Australia, but it looks nice. Thanks.

@blackspade
There is racism everywhere. Thank God for Obama, the black man now has a face.
Immigration of blacks to australia was open until they had a few black immigrants that could not integrate. Australians wrote that 'blacks dont fit in well like others', whatever that means. but the question is ''what kind of blacks were those''?
i have lived with a few australians. they are nice. also australia has a great number of nigerian PROFESSIONALS. so i think if you are a skilled immigrant that can fill a certainm need in australia without having problems with crime and drugs, then i do not see why you will not be considered.
Leave racism out of the matter. every country has the right to protect its interest. so if its in australias interest to bar blacks of dubious character, then so be it,

It's disturbing you don't find anything wrong with the government discriminating against a whole group of people because of a few bad apples. I for one am very aware racism is found everywhere, but when government openly discriminates, it's a different story. Australia looks nice, but I'm not fond of the country or it's distinction of being a society where racism is prevalent. That is all, hate it or love it, that's my opinion on Australia.

I will give a 100% 'go ahead' with this decision u have made if you can struggle to make it real. You can apply for an SIR (Skilled Independent Regional) visa and this visa is usually sponsored by the state government. Medical doctors  and Pharmacists (especially those that started early) are making heaps of thousands of dollars here. Even some are moving here from South Africa and the US. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

I am not in support of racism, but if you see what these so called 'refugees' are doing here, you will almost regret being a black person. Let me tell you one truth, those refugees don't pay rent, they have concession for everything so they pay 50% less for everything, they are paid forthnightly for doing absolutely nothing, its free 'everything' for them. The government spends so much of tax payers' money to keep this 'refugees' well. I work hard 40hrs a week and 30% of my income goes to feeding a lazy bone. But what the government gets in return is laziness and violence from these people, they spend the money on big cars and heavy necklaces, but they will never learn to speak English, let alone work for money. They simply don't want to INTEGRATE!. Just when its a Thursday, you will see them in a queue at the family office waiting to collect their dole.

Go to this link and see for yourself http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,,24641248-5006301,00.html

Now tell me if you are 'the government' what will be your judgement Huh Huh I rest my case. Lips sealed

Actually going to Africa will in no way put them in jeopardy. I know expatriates in Nigeria who wont trade their places for any job here in London. These guys get paid in Foreign currency, live in top quality accomodations, get VIP treatment everywhere, plus free tropical sun which they wont normally get in dreary ol blighty.

most of d aussies school in australia and come over to the uk to work, its very hard to see an expatriate school in nigeria, this people r in naija because they r well taken care off there,if not ,none of them will stay in that country for one sec
