Did it a lot back i the days and it was fun too. especially the excitement of meeting the person. This was in the late 90s so most of the pople who had internet access back then in Lagos were the priviledged at times it's all good and at times the person go wowo no be small. Not that they are terrible but most people post their best pics online so u get kinda dissapointed when you see the real deal. So whenever we planned to finally meet, I made sure I was always at a vantage point where I could see the lady b4 she saw me - so I could take off incase she was a wowo di wowo.  |

I agree with y'all.I've tried it once and it felt like the best thing in the world.however its best to always err on the side of caution when dating online.Bearing in mind that the only information you've got of your aficionado so to say is the one provided by him/her which could be a phony indentity for all we know.for instance, a guys could deceive you in to believing that he's a girl when it's actually the opposite and its could happen the other way round.
This deception could go on for a long time and then one day he/she might decide to drop the ice breaking news on you or some how you found out to your shock and disbelief that the person you've been wetting your pants for all these days isn't who he/she says he is.now that can be heart wrenching if you know what i mean.
my advice: when it appears to good to be true, its almost always is!

there is absolutely nothing wrong in online dating,its very common nowadays and alot of people meets there life partners online ,here people are so busy with work and hardly have time to socialise so they all go online but one have to be careful and know exactly what you want and go for that and dont rush into any relationship as there are alot of fake people online looking for just sex and pretending on looking for true love and relationship.
and when u have eventually met someone of your heart desire and want the relationship to develop offline make sure to go for a blood test before having any intimacy to be sure both of u are clear from any disease.
