Tutorial: Offline Firmware Upgrade (case Study: N95) **Updated**

First, you might need to change your product code to 0536063, i strongly recommend you do that.
To change your product code, use the application Nemesis Service Suite (i go dey refer to this app as NSS during this tut). (check below for download links)
After downloading and installing Nemesis

Install NSS (Install as a Virtual USB)

Connect your phone and wait for Windows to install the drivers.
Open NSS and click on “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window
Click on the icon « Phone info »
Click on “Scan”
Now you can change the product code (on the right of the « phone info »
window of NSS). And then mark the case “Enable”.
Now press “Write”, and your phone’s product code will be changed
(you might think that nothing happened, because the phone is still in normal mode,
and the changing of the product code only takes a couple of seconds, but don’t worry,
the product code changed !).
Close NSS.

Run the firmware (download link for firmware below) on your PC, by default it installs to c:\Program files\Nokia\Phoenix
Download the Nokia Case Suite pack (download link provided below)
Install dotnetfx (included in the pack)
Install Nokia_Care_Suite_Store (included in the pack)
Now run the Nokia Care Suite installed, it will be under Start > All Programs > Phone Flashing Applications > Nokia > Nokia Care Suite

When the suite opens, choose "Multi SW Updater"

The Nokia Care Suite shows up.
Goto File > Preferences
Under Preferences goto datapackages tab
Choose the option "Local Mode:, "
remove all the directories in the local mode then click on "Add" and browse to where the firmware was installed that is c:\Program files\Nokia\Phoenix.
now your screen should look like mine belows

Click on close, then close the Nokia Care Suite.
While your phone is still connected run tje Nokia Care Suite again it should look like the one in my screen below

Notice the red circle, Click on that Multi Software Update.

Now u should see something like this

Just click on that arrow and let it update.

Notes:
Turn off firewalls and antivirus programs before doing this
Please make sure you are not connected to the internet.
Please do this at your own risk, some times bad things happen, lol/
