i hope I'm not being intrusive
how did y'all meet?
well u can always do trad and court now
and have the church wedding when u can. or have the pastor marry u in his office then do reception later on
(this is probably what i will do sha)

Funny you asked, we grew up together as kids, our parents had been friends even before any of us was born. We went to the same Primary School but my parents moved us to the States before I started Secondary School. I love her more than life itself, but I remember when we were growing up in Nigeria she was just like a sister to me. Boyfriend and girlfriend thing was like hell no then. We all slept in the same room, took our evening baths together of cause we were kids and didn't know what nakedness was. Not like kids of these days. Who would ever believe we getting married. Oh my God I remember she used to beat me up and make me cry but now we getting married WOW Shocked Shocked Shocked.

Congrats Tx!
Am happy for you!

To the issue, it all depends on how you project your day to be like. If you want a big wedding they you have got to roll out the dough.
My elder brother is planning his in october. We are igbo and he is getting married to a yoruba lady. I don't have an idea of what his budget is like but i could find out,

simple! cut your coat according to your material. for my cousins wedding in naija last summer, we downed over N500,000.00 worth of SODA alone, and the whole nine yards whether that one small or too much is in the mind of the spenders. its up to u to decide what u want. don't let what people would think determine what scale u want it to be because trust me them credit card payments dey give headache, toothache, brainache, and WateverItCanBring ache.
