Songs Attached to Memories
« on: September 24, 2005, 04:35 AM »

I guess the topic says it all. What are those songs that when you hear them..  they remind you of something/moments/people? What are those moments.. and what are those songs that puts you in the "Ohh This is great" Mood. probably slow songs and all that kind. I am in a music spirit now.. ohhh Celine dion is killing me with memories.

I love Celine dion's musics and i will forever dooo. because My first real boyfriend and I used to listen to it like crazy in Nigeria. He bought all her CD's for me, and so did I. I always try to avoid Celine's song.. But hey.. tonight, i just can't do it. It's bringing all those lovely wonderful memories back. Celine rocks. I love all her songs.

When i listen to Oruka by Sunny Nneji, i just can't wait to play that song on my wedding day.. it makes me feel like.. I want to get married immediately.

Those are the ones i can think of now. Tell me yours.  Wink

Whenever i hear "If that what it takes" by Celine, I remeber Oluwakemi....the first and only girl i ever fell in love with. Its 9 years past now and we'r still friends.
It brings back the memories because i remember "toasting" her for 9 hrs and somewher in between i sang that song and she was streaming tears uncontrollably. Few days later, i was transfered out of Lagos. She never became my girlfriend but i loved her so much.
I guess some people are just meant to be friends......
