Inconsistency seems to be our best friend nowadays and at this point i would tow the line of debosky and a few other Gunners We can't win this league i have switched from optimistic mode to realistic mode i don't know what was the problem of those lads today maybe they where still high of the Utd victory we lined up 5 midfielders and still played like the away team we where dominated from start to finish and our paper-thin midfield was clueless throughout and when we had a few breaks forward that Danish Giraffe ended up spoiling things honestly Bendtner should be loaned to West Brom or a team trying to avoid relegation come January that dude is shyte!!!

I would wager 11 games  .Arsenal would lose 11

Fabregas seems not to be giving his all.He's either tired or confused.He's gone through a lot in the past 3 years you know.So much responsibility,past hopes and no results for such age.its beginning to tell on him.I like to see arsenal play but looks like the manager is the cause of the whole mess.He hardly learns.There's more probability of Fergie or Scolari buying good players in january than Arsene buying any player.Thats absurd.At the end of the day, you really can't blame the boys

Well, well, ISP on now . Nice weekend so far at the NL Hospital. Last week I stated it clearly that Wenger wasn't managing Arsenal as a football club. When he was jumping up last weekend, one would think it was becos of the goals/win but na lie . If only he can see how he affects people's lives .

Yes am very much around. Was just concluding logistics arrangement to put my lodge in place. Cris darl has given me the in ahead to organise the SWAT guys, she went to service hence can't be here. I've been entertaining a guest from out of town, hence no time for nairaland all weekend.

What can I say? Another insipid performance from the Gunners - as someone mentioned earlier - Cesc's poor form has been a factor in this as well.

We seemed tired - for no reason really, none of the starting 11 played midweek, so why are they tired after having a whole week's rest?

The defence was under pressure throughout the game as I could see from the highlights of the first half and the second half that I watched, so even the 4-5-1 did not produce much defensive steel. On the day though, with the injured personnel it was likely the best starting formation, though I don't think Bendtner should've started when Ade was fit.

All in all, it goes to prove my point - Arsenal will NOT win the premiership this season - we are losing the types of games we only lost against the scummies or chelski to Hull and Villa now - teams who do not play negative but still manage to beat us at home - very worrying indeed.

When I was analysing a few weeks ago stating this would likely happen, optimists said I was too negative. Now the crap has hit us right in the face and there can be no escaping it.

Yes, we can hold on to the usual excuses - we were unlucky for Clichy to have scored an own goal (though that had been coming for games now, Clichy's errors have been EXTREMELY costly so far this season).

But in reality - we created no luck of our own - save for Fab's two shots and Ade's header off the post, we created precious little AT HOME.
We even had luck when Almunia guessed correctly and saved a penalty and Gallas was not throwing a tantrum at the halfway line and so could actually clear the ball after the save. Unfortunately we didn't do enough .

People will say buy players in January and all that, but I'm not convinced that will solve anything for Arsenal right now - something is seriously wrong in the backroom - AW needs to look at himself and his coaching team and see if there is anything he can do to put things right. New players will not solve this one-dimensional play we've been displaying.

If AW is wise, he'll focus on making 4th, then go all out to win the FA cup or the CL. That is the only redemption he can have this season. Will he do it? Time will tell.

Gallas should take all the blame for the 2 goals scored by Aston Villa.

On the build up to the first goal. . . . . .Ashley Young Vs Gallas.
Every roach in this country knows Ashley Young plays on the left but uses his right foot 90% of the time.
Gallas(an experienced defender) shoulda forced him to move to the left side instead of cutting in like he did.
As soon as Young got the space to use his right foot, the outcome was always gonna be deadly.

2nd goal. . . . .I also agree Arsenal shoulda been awarded a freekick but even then. . . .there was still so much to do.
Villa's clearance had Gallas and Agbonlahor head to head running towards Almunia's goal.
How did Gab steal a march on Gallas?? Gallas shoulda got to the ball first and a simple body charge woulda knocked Gabby off his stride.
If he had used his head with a simple defensive move and the goal woulda been avoided.
