Trust Dayokanu. . . . . . He would say England lost because Phillip Lahm didn't play or because Klose has hernia. Tongue
Michael Carrick was my MOTM. . . . . .His slide-rule passes tonight were top drawer.
I still cannot understand why Capello under-rates this guy.
It's pathetic.

I blame Loew for this. If The Germans are not ready for this why play the game at all? Instead of fielding all these inexperienced players

Rene Adler  3 caps
Heiko Westermann 9 caps
Compper Debut
Jermaine Jones 3 caps
Marko Marin 4 caps
Patrick Helmes 9 caps

Simon Rolfes 16 caps
Piotr trochowski 18 caps
Mario Gomez 20 caps

Aside Bent and Agbonlahor  doubt if any English player has less than 10 caps while Germany had 6, 4 in the starting line up.

Messi played against Brazil in a more competitive game in COPA AMERICA and got raped in a team without Kaka and Ronaldinho.
Does Messi disappear in big games? YES.

@Hemp,
which player rater are you talking about? Anyone would know Downing was the player of the match.

Ronaldo was super SHYTE check the rating he had one of the lowest.

8 goals scored no goal no assist the only thing he did was to fight marcelo who made him look like a Pub player

@ dayokanu,

You have a talent for turning defence into attack.  Grin

You know me I wont allow you do that  Grin

The English squad was equally half baked.

Rio? Brown? Cole? Rooney? Lamps? Gerrard?

I can go on and on.

Portugal were shyte last night no doubt. So also was your

@Akinalabi,

germany had too many rookies in that team to be taken to seriously. What do you make of

Rene Adler  3 caps
Heiko Westermann 9 caps
Compper Debut
Jermaine Jones 3 caps
Marko Marin 4 caps
Patrick Helmes 9 caps
Marcel Schafer Debut

No team can field this type of players and expect to win against Cappello

@TKB, One of them played a major final 5 months ago and have played 2 major finals in the last 6 years while the other last graced a major final 42 years ago!!!! It does not take an Albert Einstein to figure which is the crappy TEAM!!!!!

Shut your traps and stop clutching at straws.

Germany played a 2nd team just like England did. . . . . .I still saw Klose n Gomez in the attack and those are veterans.
The fact is your team LOST at a home to reserve players of the 3 LIONS.
It's a total DISGRACE and when was the last time Germany lost on that pitch?? Please remind us. Grin Grin Grin
Michael Carrick took his Man Utd swagger to Germany and wrecked the German midfield with subliminal passes and tact.

@ dayokanu,

They both played second string sides. England had players
you always say are total crap. Players like Downing, Bent
and co. Even if they have a few caps here and there, you're
always the first to say they are total crap.

Okay. Maybe you're saying Bent, Downing, Agbolahor, Defoe,
Bridge, Upson are better than the German players you listed.

Exactly ma sentiments!!!

Dayokanu knows how to spin debates with his dud theories.
What has number of caps gotta do with a game where England's fringe players schooled Nazis on their own soil.
Carrick disgraced Germany.

Second string for England but that team was like 8 string for Germany.
Carrick schooled Jermaine Jones and Simon Rolfes who can never start for Germany barring injuries for Ballack, Frings Hitzlsperger, Ottl, Baumann, Kroos

Bent, Downing, Agbolahor, Defoe,
Bridge, Upson are definitely better than Compper, Schafer, Jermaine Jones, Tasci and those kindergarten boys

U can spin it round and round but it won't make your statement TRUE.
One would think Friedrich, Mertesacker, Schweinsteiger, Klose, Rolfes, Gomez, Trocjowski and Podolski DID NOT feature in this game
Why are u such a bum when u analyse??
Admit Germany got outfoxed by a better side and letz move on. . . . .
Carrick scored a higher rating than any German on parade. . . .Pathetic!!!! Grin Grin Grin

Why are United fans even defendng Ronaldo?
I as a United fan will never see him in the same light as,say, this time last year.Reason? The summer flirt with Real.
My respect has dropped several levels for him.

And then add that to last night's fiasco in Brazil. His behaviour in one word:Indefensible (if there is ever a word like that!)

He was a disgrace for someone who is being tipped as a World Footballer of the Year. His performance on the pitch:non-existent.His childish behaviour by grabbing Marcello by the throat is uncalled for, unneccesary and unwarranted in all ramifications. If the dude was having a bad game,he didn't need to start throwing his usual tantrums.
Fact is,he is a spoiled prima-donna with no class.
To me,and this is my own opinion, the jackass is a disgrace to the United fold.I don't know why fans still cheer the arrogant brat.

He might be a class act,but he has a long way to go in terms of behaving in the proper way.And until he follows Bestie(George Best),Captain Marvel (Bryan Robson)and Becks,he will never mature.Would have added Cantona, but the infamous kung-fu incident at Selhurst park has taken a bit of the shine off his career. But he was a winner. No doubt.

Personaly,I wonder why Fergie didn't sell him off.But Baba (Fergie)may have an answer I don't know. He's slowly turning into a liability.

PS: Carrick was SUBLIME yesterday. His passes were oh so SMOOOVE.

things like these happen to some players and its now left for whoever is managing them to tame them.
Ronaldo definitely has attitude problems and im sure that can be dealt with.

Ronaldinho, Maradona, RVN, Drogba, Ronaldo (Brasil) et al at one time or the other misbahaved but this doesnt take away the fact that they are/were good footballers. How can u say Ronaldo should have been sold?
I'm gonna judge him based on what he has done so far and my friend, he is still our best performer till today 20th day of November. I think hes scored 9 goals in all competitions already after missing 2 months!

Give honour to whom honour is due, his attitude off the field or when he plays for Portugal isnt our biz so far he still does what we are paying him for. Hes still our best player so give him some credits
