I receive message that an error has been encountered that prevents setup from continuing. One of the components that windows needs to continue setup could not be installed.
INCORRECT FUNCTION
Error
Installation failed D:\I386\asms.
ERROR MESSAGE: Incorrect function.

Now every time i reboot my system xp-pro begins to load and i cant get it to load into my old o/s which was xp-home.

Can you help me? Huh

Scratched install CD or dirty lens. If you are using a desktop try using another DVD-ROM drive. Most DVD RW drives (sold in comp villa) have issues installing windows.
