i have tried all the links, dmc, sms, customer care, none is working. The customer care agent i called this morning even told me that mms isnt available. So, fellow nairalanders, whatz d way out, contribute your own knowlege.

Ma sim was'nt activated dats was why G refuse 2 appear on ma fone. Chrisemi got ma sim activated last nite, i can now browse wit zain though it browse very well last nite but dis morning its says no access 2 server but am still trying. Thanks chrisemi

WOW, guys, d dmc link is already active again, i activated 10 lines successfully. But d trick is u do it twice and wait for 48hrs maximum. the sim doesnt need to even be in the phone.

It is possible to activate your zain line.In my case,i've tried to activate a line for about 2 weeks with no success.I tried dmc,nokia configurator,sms to 232.Nothing worked.
During this period of trying to activate the line,it was having just 9k.Using mmsgprs to 232 always gives me error.
I decided to load 100 naira credit.I texted mmsgprs to 232 and this time,the message was sent.I did that about 4 times.I did not receive any message from Zain and so,i decided to remove the sim.3 days later,i just put the sim in my phone and VOILA!!!The sweet "G" was now showing and the network name Zain was changed to CeltelNigeria1.I later received text that my sim have been activated for mms.
Simply put,load the sim with credit and try the activation process.It will work!!

I have used mmsgprs nokia 6600 sent to 232 to activate 4 sims and they must have credit in it.If the network is still showing Zain as i have noticed in N70,there is no gprs but when it changes from Zain to CeltelNigeria1,there is gprs.So i think after activation,the network will change to CeltelNigeria1.I dont know if that is the case in other phones.
