I really want to find out how much one can make advertising Google ads on one's blog. Right now, i am even finding it hard to place adds on my blog. I mean placing the ad codes in my source code. Please if you know more about what i am talking about, help a brother.

I don't use Google ads but I don't think you can make any significant amount of money (Maybe, $3-$4 per month if you are lucky) without having a very popular blog which you have worked hard to market correctly over time.

CONTENT IS KINGStart posting very good content on your blog.Start with a free one.There is really no need to use a paid website for now.I would say the minimum you can do to start earning is 3 posts per week. TRAFFIC IS ALSO KINGIf you want to have good traffic to your blog,you need to have what they want (quality content) and you need to have a very attractive blog design to make them come back. Who says you can not make $100 per day at minimum with google adsense even without a website. This is 2009 and things have changed. You can use your adsense id to make cool money with or without a website/blogsite. My bank account is already "over smiling" with google adsense. Infact i don't have google ads on my latest blogger www.beaesthetic2010.blogspot.com and i'm already making another cool money from the id i just collected with the above blogsite even without yet pasting it on my blog. It all depends on your raison d'etre.
For me, it is residual income not income to help pay my bills so I am happy with the $12 a month that I get on average. In the event that I want to use it to pay bills, I will simply change my business model such that I am able to make what I need to make to put food on the table.

thatz right kingzli and consequently, many follow blindly and get frustrated when they don't make at least $300 a month. As I said earlier, it's all about purpose, the reason for being. I went in knowing that it won't be a cake walk. As a matter of fact, I got my first google check after 3 years. After I did some fine-tuning, I now get a check every 10 months or so. For me as I said before, since it is residual income, I only bother checking my adsense account once every 3 weeks or so, twice if I am bored  |

What baffles me most is why these guys keep shouting about making $300 a day when they know its not that easy. SHould it be because they always want you to visit their own blog or email them? I understand it better when I hear such guys shout on the radio when they are organizing seminar -- where participants will pay them to be brainwashed. |

you need high traffic to make money. i have onced send 10,000 traffic to my site with and was making between 40 to 50 dollars, and i was spending 20 dollars. but the bad part of it is sudden high traffic can make them disable your account
