Banke Meshida I'll say is the most popular, I wouldn't say she's the best. She did both my Aunt and sister's make-up for their wedding, and to tell you the truth her work didn't impress me at all.

I think the top Make up artists in Nigeria are Bayo Hastrup, Tara Durotoye, Banke Meshida, Bunmi Oyeniyi (Unveil) in that order.I am also a make up artist and am waiting for that break to be discovered.

I think Eni balogun of 'Lise beauty range is the top artist in Nigeria.Not just because she trained me,because i experienced the difference between other so called artist.I did attend Tara's makeup school paid a lot of money,never saw her once and i learnt absolutely nothing.I then went to the Lise makeup school and couldn't believe that i got so much better with her 10 day class.Maybe her techniques were different and very americanised and was the latest method I've come across.The things i learnt from her, other makeup artists in Nigeria are not even close to it yet.They all just have names.She even has her own makeup line ,she re-launched in 2006 in Lagos from the US. Her work is simply out of this world.

None of you have heard of OLOLADE AWODEIN she is the best if you ask me,
i was in ghana and they had a runway show the make up the models wore was perfect she did most of the outfit and make up. she is actually the hottest over there in ghana maybe it's because she schools there, but i think you should try her out outfits and make-ups just the perfect ever, i would get her contact for you if you need it, believe me absolutely pretty can't stop comenting on it, lol it's a WOW!!!

if that make up in that picture is supposed to present her work, then its bullshit, because that picture is airbrushed and photoshopped. Show us a picture with no computer aided effects and i'll tell you if your so-called make up artist is good enogh.
No2 you don't need a makeup artist unless your handicapped or your a guy, all you need is good make up and with the right practice and creative styling you'll look the bomb!!!

always use foundation that goes with your skintone
Nigerian women go easy on the lipstick and even easier on the lip pencil!!! Remember we have big lips that don't need definition!!!!!!!
