the company is offering subscribed services, how come it is on UHF 65, one needs to get a decoder unless it would be free for all, then no one would pay since it is free to air,
so i don't think the channel you are seeing on UHF 65 is that channel, one needs to get their antennae and their decoder separately but i trust alaba boys they would do imitate it,

There's HITV coming up with a stiff competition against DSTV.
They were granted licence to show Italian League, Spanish Laliga and EPL last month. They have their office in Ondo Street, close to Costain Bus Stop in Lagos and taking off next week Monday, 18th Dec 2006. EPL airing is to take off next season
Subscription is just 3K per month, after paying 25K for the accessories.
I have an appointment with them for next week Tuesday, to see what they have on ground to offer us

Hi Folks, This is just a hint, HITV has got nothing to do with link 65 okay (the one on UHF)? HITV is operating a digital terrestial transmission lincensed by NCC and can only be received via their Decoders and Antennas no other way out. Alaba boys or no, let them try and see if they will make any success with the current encryption put in place by HITV. |

don't get overly excited - it's only 1 game per wkend; 38 games all season and maybe hi-lites some other time in the week . . . so you can imagine what happens when you've got 2/3 potential crackers in 1 wkend!
forget Oh . . . apart from the dough, you can't fault DsTV's coverage of these Euro ligues. the guys them dey really try!
me i no get DsTV 4 house but i no mind 2 dey go viewing center to watch the games oh . . . I get HiTV 4 house but those guys never so'ji at all!

I have a viewing centre and I've got dstv decoder. I also know I've got to move on to hitv for the oncoming season's life soccer matches.
One thing remains unclear to me anyway. on dstv, we've got options of watching a preferred matches on those days wehen we've got more than one life matches running at the same time Thanks to Supersports for this (SS3, SS5 and SS6). Now, is there such facility in place on hitv.
Any hitv subscriber in here that can throw more light into this matter for me?

If it is true, it is absolute madness. What right does the F.G have to ban it. Anyone subsribing to DSTV is doing so as a private contract, and the F.G has no right in interfering with it. I heard that Hi-Tv which now owns the rights to the EPL is owned by a politician. So, the ban is not done for the benefit of the average nigerian, but for our corrupt politicians benefit. Think about it.
