Just came across the small argument that erupted about me earlier this thread. Read the bashing,the bush boy tag, the attack on my actions, my workplace, my state etc. I'm really flattered by the way some well-wishers rose to my defence, even in my absence. lets cut the teachers some slack, its not a strange thing to forget shit over the decades . maybe they are senior secondary school teachers and have  no businesss with primary school stuff. i'm not trying to make excuses, just my opinion.

Being Yoruba and being North is not a disjoint set.
Kwara is North politically, and Yoruba ethnic-wise. There are however Nupe and Fulani in Kwara, but they are minority.

Dominique i didn't see the questions but from what i read they are basic maths and english questions, primary or secondary level is no excuse for scoring ZERO, heck even my dad would have aced that and he finished school donkey years ago.

The issue has to be adressed, i feel sorry for the poor kids who have to be taught by these so-called teachers

Its not only in primary schools, secondary and higher institutions are not spared.

Iam from this state and we are not mallams, hausas or fulanis. Some of us are well educated and knowledgeable. If some teachers fail primary four exams it should not be limited to the state alone, if similar exams are carried out in Lagos and other so called educationally advanced states am sure the result will not be too different. This is a fundamental problem and in tackling it we should profer sensible solutions not being judgemental and it takes gut to say such to the press.
